I was connected to the internet but not surfing any sites, just listening to iTunes while playing Pro Evo. I turned around to be faced with a blue screen of death. I thought it was weird because the music was still on. I read it, and it said something like a memory error caused a fault and that windows had been shut down, and to restart in safe mode. Blah blah.. In my panic I just turned it off, and here I am, the system seems fine, I'm doing some virus and spyware scans. I just thought I would share this puzzling, scary ordeal.

The script and characters in Kong were a lot better than Star Wars, scripts never were George's strong point.

Don't get me wrong King Kong is a great film. But its nowhere near the best ever, but then again we're arguing opinions here and theres no end to it. Personally I would rather watch any Star Wars film over King Kong. I think its one of those films that you won't be able to watch often.

Real Madrid are nothing this season, their performances are sub par just like us. So it will be interesting, personally I know Arsenal can beat them, but whether or not Arsenal turn up is a different matter. That shower of shit that lost to Newcastle is not the Arsenal I know, and if we can get a good result at the weekend, I reckon our season will imrpove.

Just got back from watching King Kong. Fantastically well made film, the cgi is amazing, the actors were fantastic. The thing that let it down was the fact I knew the story and it dragged on a bit, 3 hours was a bit too long.

EVs are effort values, its all about the game mechanics and how stats are worked out and can be improved by training the right EVs. When you defeat a Pokémon it gives you a certain EV (Speed, Attack etc) and either 1,2, or 3. A Pokémon maxes out at 510, a stat can only hold 255 max, so usually you max out two stats and slap 6 in another stat. Its complicated stuff.

Just hook yourself up with Ruby/Sapphire or Emerald. They can't beat Red/Blue nostalgia wise, but there is more strategy to them. And knowing how to EV train has added a new element. I've clocked 450+ hours on Ruby. Awesome game, I love it. But nothing beats the nostalgia of getting Pokémon Red on Christmas day, and playing it so that you're fighting Giovanni by Boxing Day.
