To continue on my previous post, my life at the moment sucks. Good stuff about my life: I got a few mates at my new school. I rarely get to hang out with them, but when I do, it's great. I love sports sessions at school, play tennis with my mates Got a very caring family Bad Stuff: About 1/2 of my year hate me, I just tend to ignore them. I seem to repel girls. I tried when I first went to the school, but I just gave up after a while. Having to do bloody GCSEs. I feel depressed sometimes. I have basically no social life outside of school, except for a yearly gig I go to with a mate from my old school. I'm so damn shy, which really pisses me off. I haven't really got a really good friend who I can share my feelings with. The thing that really fustrates me is that I was pretty open and sociable at my primary school and I was pretty popular.

That's exactly the same as me. I have friends, but none that I can feel I can open up to, so I bottle up my emotions too. The only thing I have in my life is computers games etc..

I'm learning Japanese. I have one lesson a week. I'm really bad at it though. I never bother to learn vocab etc outside of the lessons. edit: I'm willing to do these lessons. Though sometimes I might be busy.

I need some anime movie recommendation. I have so far seen: Akira 10 Ghibli films Tokyo Godfathers I'm going to download Ghost in the Shell 1-2 and Complex soon. Any recommendation for films? I've heard that Cowboy Bebop is good but I don't know if you have to have seen the series to be able to watch it. And is Steamboy any good?

I got this game a while ago. Played it for a bit then got put off by an annoying boss. I should go back to it. Anyway, does anyone else find the battles stupidly slow? It takes ages for an enemy to attack me... My GC's mucked up a bit too, when it zooms in on me it stops for second. edit: Almost completed ToS but I just can't be bothered playing it...

I've heard that Ghost in the Shell (the movie) has full frontal nudity :S Not my type of anime I'm afraid. Must order Akira soon.

Watched the first two episodes of Full Metal Alchemist. Good stuff. edit: I still don't know exactly how the Ghost in the Shell films are related to the series. Could someone shed from light on this for me please?

I’m going to buy some anime this week. I’m thinking of getting Ghost in the Shell and Innoncence (they come together) from Play.com or . Can someone tell me how they are related? Also, does it *ahem* contain anything "dodgy"? Also getting Metropolis and Akira (finally) Any other good anime you would recommend? (except Ghibli films, got them all)
