Yeah, the groups of people who's hobby it is to rip games. I'm sure they do want to be that guy, excitedly watching their dedicated Wii ripping computer racing to beat the other guy from a rival group who also got the game 2 weeks before it's store date.

I'm sure it sounds like a good deal to people who know how to solder or are willing to pay for installation. I don't think any nefarious piratey types will rip the games themselves, just download them.

Yep, it's real, it's from a company that's already released DS back-up kits and it's been seen working in the flesh by some webmasters. Info has been in the public domain for a week or so now, mentioned it in the 60hz virtual console petition thread a while back. Not interested till it can break region protection to be honest. The fact it's a drive chip means it'd be pretty much impossible for Nintendo to detect it online or bork it with a firmware update, but that's also the reason it can't crack the regional protection, much like X360 drive firmware mods can't. Wonder if this'll be locked, probably down to which mod sees it first and the usual random chance - There's an unlocked flash card thread which I reckon would have been locked if it came before the M3 Simply review, but something about emulators on a console got locked recently with the frankly nonsensical reason that emulators "may be legal on the PC, but not on a console." (A better reason would have been "Stupid question, thread locked", but hey.)

I've never heard anyone say racist names for whites are OK. I've never heard anyone say that only whites can be racist. What I do hear is people repeatedly saying "Everyone says only whites can be racist" or "They say it's OK to be racist to white people." Oh no, them coloureds get Black History Month, those poor persecuted white Americans. They have to settle with ever president of the united states ever (Who have their own day like MLK anyway) and 98% of congress. The way that guy goes on you'd think evil blacks and hispanics had all the whites in America in death camps ready for the gas chamber. Yes, many are cagey about people expressing 'white pride' - But if you want to blame people for that, I suggest you look at the type of people whose websites come up when you type 'white pride' into google. Most things on that list are irrelevant from a UK point of view anyway. We don't have an MLK day or anything I can think of as equivilant. We've got stuff like St Patricks Day and St Georges Day (Although he's a Turk, maybe that counts as a minority having his own day) and national holidays for religious festivals (But only the Christian ones) and that's about it.

Yes paki is a racist term, we've established this earlier in the thread. There's even precedent set in law about it. It's not just a shortening of a country, it's a term for a race (It should be noted that 'french', however, isn't a race - french people are black, white, arab, latino...)

So we have a forum full of people with disgusting personal habits and/or OCD I think the germans call this something like "steppenwitz" or "the wit of the stairs" - The perfect thing to say that you only think of just after you've left the situation. Edit: It's "Treppenwitz" and the french call it "esprit d'escalier". English speaking countries use these terms as well, or anglicise it into stairwit or afterwit. So now you know what to call your annoyance

Mine's getting nosier. When the disc is idling away it sounds like a harrier jet wraming up and then when it reads I get the wrrrr-clunk. There's also a beep sound when it starts to read the disc.

I do the same thing with beard hairs. Yum.

A lot of them do send a far wedge of money home rather than spending it in the UK, but hey, if they work here they pay tax here.
