Great news! Tales of Symphonia is one of the best RPG's I've played. It's interesting that Tales of Symphonia contains things from norse mythology, e.g. the world tree Yggdrasil. What's even more interesting is that Ratatosk is a special squirrel that lives in the world tree, spreading gossip, and bringing insults between the eagle at the top of the tree, and the serpent Nidhogg at the bottom.

Very interesting. I've been thinking about buying a PlayStation 3 at some point (so I'll have all three next-gen consoles), but this may make me buy one sooner. Here in Denmark a Playstation 3 60 GB (the only version available) costs about 5200 DKR, and the games about 549 DKR and the controllers about 400 DKR, so technically, with that starter pack, you are getting the console for about 3700 DKR. Not bad, I say.

Marshmellow: Regarding your question about the controllers, there is only one type of controller for the PlayStation 3 and that is called the SIXAXIS. The reason there are two different names on Amazon, is because it's from different sellers. Amazon calls the controller "Sony Playstation 3 Wireless Controller" while the other is from a seller named SkyBox USA (look over the "add to shopping basket" button on the SIXAXIS page). So there you have it. There is only one controller, the sellers simply names them differently.

I would say Twilight Princess, definitely. And if you need some first person action, I highly recommend Red Steel.

I still have faith in Ubisoft. Rayman Raving Rabbids was good and Red Steel was awesome. Their other games may be of questionable quality, but I am of the firm belief that they will make more awesome games for the Wii, I mean, it's always a start that they admit that they made a mistake, isn't it?

That Gamecube screenshot is actually from an earlier version of the game, you can tell by the health/ammo display. The water in the final version is not that transparent. But I think there is something amiss with those magazine screenshots. I can't imagine Capcom would do like this: "So, we made this game for the Gamecube and then for the PlayStation 2, now let's make a Wii version. Let's see, the Wii uses the same hardware architecture as the Gamecube, then let's port the PlayStation 2 version, and add Wii controls". This just doesn't make sense to me.

I have a question about the Xbox 360 VGA Cable. I have recently bought a new TV, a Samsung LE26R71, and my Wii is using the Component inputs. I would like to buy a VGA cable, so I won't have to switch cables constantly. The thing is, next to the VGA socket on the tv, there are two audio inputs (red and white) and it says "Audio Out" above them, which confuses me. The question is, would I get any sound through these inputs when using the VGA cables sound connectors? Does anyone here maybe have this tv, and know this? Any help would be much appreciated.

It seems there will be an Alone in the Dark game for Wii. Confirmed here: http://www.areagames.de/areagames/article/13455/AreaGames-Interview-Alone-in-the-Dark-englisch.aspx (at the bottom of the article) (note: It is a german games website, but this article is their own translation. It's not a dodgy Babelfish/Google translation.) Should be interesting to see how it turns out.

ZeldaFreak: In relation to your TV position/sensor bar placement, couldn't you just place the sensor bar somewhere else? It doesn't have to be near the TV to work. So, if your TV is hanging on the wall high up, couldn't you place the sensor bar somewhere below the TV? That way you would just have to point at the sensor bar, not at the TV. On topic: I'm looking forward to this game, especially for the story elements and the prospect of seeing locations from Resident Evil 2 and 3 in glorious high quality 3d-o-vision.

It's nice to see other people enjoying this game. I think it is really good, and of all the Wii FPS games I've tried, this has the best controls. I really hope they make a Red Steel 2 which has been hinted at a few times.

I would say it's worth buying, just don't expect to much. Interestingly, you can actually configure the bounding box in which you aim, which, oddly, IGN's review doesn't mention.

Sounds great. Thanks a lot. I also found out that the store where I want to buy it has a 14 day full return policy. So if I don't like it, I can just return it.

I'm thinking about buying a Samsung LE27S71B TV, but I've been unable to find any reviews about it. Does anyone here have this tv, or know anything about it? I'm planning to use it for a Wii and Xbox 360 and later a Playstation 3.

So far I have Zelda, Rayman, Red Steel, WarioWare, FarCry Vengeance and Sonic. My next purchase will probably be Medal of Honor, and after that either Eledees or Heatseeker.

Well, just out of curiosity. It was just something I've been wondering. Thanks for the answers, much appreciated.

I see. It was more specifically wireless controllers I was thinking about, but thanks anyway.

I have a question I would like to ask about the Xbox 360 controllers. If you have two wireless controllers connected, do they remember their "position" next time you turn them on? For example, we have controller A and B. Controller A is controller 1 and controller B is controller 2. We then turn them off. Next, we turn on controller B first. Is it still assigned as controller 2 on the ring of light or does it then become controller 1 because it was turned on first? This is just out of curiosity. It doesn't mention anything about it in the manual.

There's a new gameplay video for Bioshock on Gamespot. It looks absolutely amazing. Find it here: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/bioshock/media.html?autoplay=6166763&tag=topslot;title;1&om_act=convert&om_clk=topslot Its the one called Bioshock Official Movie 2. Enjoy!

There we have the keyword. Your personal opinion. Then why do you keep posting your opinions as facts? Quote: No offence but most hardcore gamers have been living in the era of HD (So it's a fact that of the 100's of millions of gamers in the world most have an HDTV and an Xbox 360/Playstation 3?). And this game will suck (will suck? You don't even write "I think it will suck", you are writing it like a fact). It really helps if you use words in your posts like "In my opinion" or "I think".

The only problem I've had is in Rayman Raving Rabbids, where the game suddenly froze, and made a loud continous noise. I had to turn the Wii off by the power plug to turn it off. Other than that, I've only had some very minor glitches in Red Steel, like the menu music would continue to play after loading a game, or an enemy got stuck somewhere.

I'm looking forward to WAY more than 10 games this year, so I'll list them on a per console basis. (in no particular order) WII: Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles Super Mario Galaxy Project H.A.M.M.E.R. Disaster: Day of Crisis Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Metroid Prime 3: Corruption No More Heroes Super Smash Bros. Brawl Battalion Wars 2 Fire Emblem Super Paper Mario Heatseeker Sonic & The Secret Rings Thorn (if it is released in 2007) Sadness (if it is released in 2007) Dragon Quest Swords Darkness (if it is released in 2007) Xbox 360 Mass Effect Bioshock Blacksite: Area 51 Stranglehold Halo 3 The Darkness Dark Sector These are what I can think of right now. I haven't included Playstation 3 games on the list, because I don't know if I will be buying one this year.

Source please. If you go to http://www.blu-ray.com the front pages states that Blu Ray is expected to outsell HD-DVD by a 3.5:1 ratio, and here http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2007/02/02/bd_hd_dvd_media_sales/ it states that Blu Ray is catching up with HD DVD, but are expected to out sell HD DVD.

I tried the Wii today, in Toys R Us. I was amazed by how small, and comfortable the controller is. I tried a quick match of Wii Sports Tennis with the attendant, and it was amazing, I actually started jumping around a little, like I was actually playing tennis. So now that I have tried the Wii, I'm even more excited for the 8th. Oh, and It was quite funny, the attendant said that I should use the wrist strap, but that it couldn't be tightended, which it actually could! He apparently didn't notice the little plastic thingie, and he didn't even know that the controller attachment was called the nunchuck. All in all, it was an amazing first esperience, albeit a short one.

Going by that logic, Battle for Middle Earth 2 for the Xbox 360 would only work on High Definition televisions, but the demo worked and played fine on my tv. I could easily see the units and read the text. And then no PC RTS games would have 640x480 as a resolution option.
