Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Raven replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ocarina Of Time---> On the way home ---> Majoras Mask --->7 years later --->Twilight Princess--->***--->Great Flood----->Wind Waker this is the way i figure it. and the *** is the part where we all argue about the hero failing, and dying and all that sort of stuff. to be completely honest, WE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENS HERE. there could be another 5 games in the *** time. anyway, im playing majoras mask again at the moment. its an incredible game, and i prefer it over OoT. has anyone paid attention to the lighting in this game? its actually very well done. -
when i saw that in your msn name, the first thing i said to you was 'rat shit'. and i just asked everyone in my office.... and yeah. they said the same.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

correction. most here are geeks. (im a nerd though :P) i havent read this thread for about... 50 pages. but ill still post my thoughts on this title... forward compatability to the revolution is pretty cool. but im not so sure about the FHC being used for swords and boomerangs and stuff... would be pretty cool for a hookshot though. some of the big titles that we know and love, zelda and smash bros included, i worry about their future with nintendo trying to implement the FHC wherever they can... -
just a couple of questions about mario smash football. 1) what does the 'perfect strike' cheat do to the game? 2) how does each team captain affect the items you get? i have noticed that when you have Wario, you occassionally get 5xbananas, and dk gets giant ones.... wondering what others there is. thanks! raven

interesting point, as this was something that i noticed a while back. people were installing emulation programs such as zsnes on their xbox's and playing the nintendo games that way... i thought it was clever at first. but it does put a bit of a spanner in the virtual console works my reaction to Rare not making it.... bugger. all that i would have gotten was perfect dark and conkers bad fur day... but im sure that other people would be wanting the others. they ARE GOOD. and it is a shame that nintendo doesnt have that deal. well, if the revo makes enough money, maybe they can buy Rare back.

in tethe'alla. go to the north most point of the 'west island'. the earth temple doesnt look very 'temple-like' as the past ones have... its just a crevice looking thing. straight after the dragon fight, you are flying above it... its just not that noticeable, and it helps if you are on the ground to find it. hope this helps!

nah. its just that there is so little on the back! probably lighting has something to do with it as well... probably something you should ask a photographer about, not a bunch of gamers

i would like to be nuked at e3. (not the terrorist way either.....) but nintendo has to continue to build the hype. living in australia, its not uncommon to hear 'revolution? whats that?" would be nice if some media (even just newspapers) knew that nintendo is gonna steal the show, get up to awesome stuff... and in general, build the hype. maybe it would be possible for nintendo australia officials (or someone who has more pull than the average gamer) could get onto the media? well i dunno. anyway, i am looking forward to e3, and to a lesser extent the conference thing coming up.

hahaha! i knew that nintendo were sending out preliminary devkits to the various companies.... but that sounds so shoddy! they are even handing out a cheapo version of the FHC! funny bunch... keepin secrets like that! its like handing nasa a cardboard box model of the next shuttle and saying "work with this"! well, e3 will be worth it. cant wait to see whats coming out of the box.

Shadow The Hedgehog Official Thread

i liked it. nice to see some storyline in a sonic game. i didnt mind the level design to be honest. there was nothing in the game that i reckoned 'sucked ass'. but interestingly enough, im not inclined to play it again anytime soon.... -

mario football is an awesome game. there. its been said... nah seriously. i would rate ToS over MSF for sure. but dont stop looking for it in the bargain bin.. or somethin

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Raven replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
id be more inclined to believe that the 'spirit of the hero' (or some crap like that) is passed on. i also doubt that link will die. though i would like it. i think the idea of sages being pwned is more likely. would also be more riveting as a storyline thing. -
when i first got a hold of it, i beat it 3 times in a row (special ending that screams 'SEQUEL!!!!') anyway, i put it down for ages, occasionally pulling it out to show people what a good horror game can be like. and to put casual gamers back into their place.... but anyway... came back to it eventually, because my save file had disappeared and i wanted to see the extra stuff again... so yeah. played it at night, and then the damn walls started bleeding. "yer. i think ive had enough for the night"

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

well well well. it is seeming that they are one and the same at the moment! with the news from IGN being "100% Accurate". ive speculated this for quite a while actually. how couldnt ninty be spending so long on TP, and at the same time have another zelda game ready for the revolution release? yer... thats right... zelda like youve never played it before. -
Dont give them any ideas.... the last thing that Nintendo needs is to find that Sony has stolen the reggie-patent. then Sony would make an army of Reggie-bots to act on their behalf...
-
sorry guys if my question wasnt clear.... but a few of ya's picked up on what i was asking... will there be a sequel? well. if the licencing belongs to Nintendo, then ill assume that its possible. anyway. ED:SR is a brilliant game.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Redemption am i barking up a tree that doesnt exist? just thought that you guys may know something... cheers. raven

havent played too much of it. but me and my mates call it the 'art game'. the controls are...... funny... ive never been a big fan of the blood, guts and gory swearing games... but i am finding this one amazing! i cant help but join in every time Coyote Smith goes "your F**KED!" we have been speculating on a game that is as weird as salad fingers... and i think that this is it...

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Raven replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
hey can i play too! asshole! buttface!!! anyway, i havent read the last few posts, but just thought id add my comments on the latest reggie related news. -reggie hasnt ruled out revolution forwardness for zeldaTP. just that its likely that TP aint gonna use the controller. they still could have unlockable goodies and stuff if you play it on the revo. besides. nintendo have been doin their usual circus backflipping antics all the time. they could still use the rvo controller for TP. -i think that he was meaning 'you cant plug the revo controller into a gamecube and do stuff'. -
new arse kicking franchise would be very nice. i do like the idea of a MMORPG. but any real time strategy would be good. this is the kind of game that can be really influenced by the new controller... so im thinking that this is more likely. im also gonna point out that it doesnt necessarily have to be another mario title..;.. hopefully... but if (as the news article suggests) it gets as big as zelda... well. we all have something to look forward to. bring on e3!
-
i actually thought the opposite. i thought that the new controller would encourage more 3rd party developers... but whatever. itll be ok.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

im 21... older than a lot of you, and am often impressed by whats said at this forum... keep up the good work guys! 2 things... 1) i like that pic. love the atmosphere. even if there is still heaps of work to be done there, i would be impressed as is. (even with the guy being skewered by the wood *grins*) 2) what is wrong with making this game more than one disc? is it a problem with re-entering dungeons or what? ive played quite a few multidisc games (Final fantasy series... tales of symphonia... baten kaitos) and found no real dramas with them. probably a dumb question, but i need this explained to me.
