Colin Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Wake me up when we get that Smash bros trailer please I think that's really the only thing people are waiting for..............I don't expect much else apart from that.
Sooj Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Is it just me or are the games (pictures) looking far more lush and overall better than ever?
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Does anyone else get the feeling that Wii will be home to alot of party games?
Dante Posted November 3, 2006 Author Posted November 3, 2006 Three hour wait for Zelda. It begins again… by Mark Bozon US, November 2, 2006 - In classic Nintendo tradition, Nagoya Japan is hosting the Nintendo World event, showcasing the top titles for fanboys worldwide just in time for the holiday season. The last Nintendo World event was held in 2004 for the release of DS, and this E3-like event can unofficially looked at as a Nintendo pre-launch party for consumers, industry workers, and retailers. And wouldn't you know it, the Wii is once again running wild on the showroom floor. As the first of many updates from the Nagoya event, IGN editors on location have informed us unlucky cubicle-dwellers here in LA and San Francisco that the hype for Wii is once again in full effect, this time centering around killer launch title The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, boasting three hour lines for a single runthrough of the E3 demo within the first ten minutes of the show opening. Is this a sign of things to come for Wii's launch in just three weeks? We'd like to think so. Until then, however, sit back and enjoy our continuing coverage of the event as we near the single largest system launch in Nintendo history. Sooj Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 3 weeks for America...6 weeks for us. Man I can't wait, will anyone help me to freeze myself
Dante Posted November 3, 2006 Author Posted November 3, 2006 Just minutes ago a new trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl was shown to fans waiting in line for Wii games. With an estimated running time of over three minutes, the new trailer is comprised almost entirely of gameplay. The clips displayed all known characters battling in various environments, including one that resembled Yoshi's Island, and another first clip of Fox in action, battling in a space level. This is the first we've seen of Fox in Brawl, and while he was an expected playable character, it's now confirmed from the trailer. We'll have more on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, including the full trailer as soon as possible. Keep checking back on IGN Wii for the latest Nintendo World details. Source: IGN
James McGeachie Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 It's funny how on the Wii game sites every last show has a picture of a Wiimote over it, even if it's not doing anything whatsoever. They're kind of going a bit overboard with that I think.
The3rdChildren Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 This looks like a great event and although the news of a three hour wait for Zelda is a cruel thing to celebrate it really does serve well to show how popular the Wii is going to be.

Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I feel intuitionally with four ■ maker Nintendo ■ genre party game ■ play number of people ■ maker hope retail prices undecided Wii wireless remote controller in 2007 on a release due date and operate it. solitanze Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Thanks, although that information tells us s**t all about the game. I want simulated dice rolling with the Wiimote with shaking in the palm of your hand and flicking the Wiimote as if you're releasing the dice, if you just press the A button for rolling the dice, then NO DICE! [as in no purchase] Other additions i'd like included are UPDATED GRAPHICS and they look to have improved ever so slightly but i'd like to see more improvement, it has to progress, getting too repetitive, 10 boards AT THE VERY LEAST double figures for the 1st time, more characters, break the 100 barrier with standard mini games, have quality mini games through all categories, online play would be good more options items etc and make the computer play say No to a star at least once, only ONCE EVER have I seen a computer character say no to a star, it was Mario Party 1 on the Jungle Board, DK said no after my player was taunting him, toad CRACKED IT.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I thought this sentence was funny: "The latest product of Mario party is an appearance in Wii."
solitanze Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I thought this sentence was funny: "The latest product of Mario party is an appearance in Wii." BUILT INTO INTERNAL FLASH MEMORY? "a board map of four play" Are we gonna see a Sexual themed board?
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I dont think its built into the Wii. I think he means, "its a sight to behold". Also I think he says that they will bundle a Wiimote with Mario Party.
raven_blade2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=26 New SSBB Trailer.
solitanze Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Trailer now released, does anyone care about this event anymore?
raven_blade2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Trailer now released, does anyone care about this event anymore? I do. Let the people go experience Wii for themselves, it will make Nintendo even more popular in Japan. Also we will get to hear EVEN more hands on impressions about Wii. This can only be a good thing.
solitanze Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Its needs the exposure, getting consumers to try it out for themselves is by far the most effective way to market this console seeing that its all about the controller. Is Mario Party 8 playable at that event?
Kurtle Squad Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 See...Japan gets a Yellow/Orangey cover for Wario Ware!! Their Zelda cover's better too!!
Hellfire Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 If Mario Party is online it's the first MP I'm buying.
