gj15987 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Anyone heard anything about Nintendo touring the Wii anywhere yet? I was hoping they would take it with them on the Pokemon tour here in the UK but there isn't any info saying so
Tellyn Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Grr you and your misleading thread title!!!!!!!!!!!
gj15987 Posted October 17, 2006 Author Posted October 17, 2006 Haha, sorry, I'll change it. Ok I can't... lol.
ShadowV7 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 This had my hopes up there I think they will do something, but then again, the is NoE we're talking about.
Nintendo Fan Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 This had my hopes up there I think they will do something, but then again, the is NoE we're talking about. lol me too, misleading indeed. Allthough i think something will be done.
Teppo Holmqvist Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Well... Finland's DigiExpo does have Wii on display with (at least) following games; Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Wario Ware and Wii Sports.
triforce_keeper Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Even if there is a tour I'm not gunna go to it. You must think I'm crazy. The reason why is that when I open it on x-mas day I want it to be my first time on a Wii. Make it feel magical! Woo!
Mokong Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 They said they'd do a Wii Roadshow around the UK and Ireland, but no details yet, seems like their leaving it a bit late.
flameboy Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I really hope they will. Xbox 360 is touring the country, with exclusive plays of games such as gears of war, viva pinata, need for speed carbon, call of duty 3, plus a wealth of older titles. they are touring all over for two days. surely Nintendo has to get it sorted and do something to combat this, the more people who see the wii the more people will possibly be enticed into buying, Nintendo want to get more people into gaming with the Wii, ok adverts will do so much, but actually seeing and touching the wiimote will help promote it.
fukudasolokomalakikenanze Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 The Wii is a Nintendo console and its on tour.
flameboy Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 The Wii is a Nintendo console and its on tour. yeah bit of a sweeping statement there.
Anton Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Nintendo said the tour would be before the official console launch...that leaves them what? One and a half month...it's about time they announce something concrete
