solitanze Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I have a legitimate song idea that i'd like to bring to fruition but I need something to actually create it. Does anyone here know what the BEST MUSIC Software available is for making professional music of almost recording studio quality [EXAMPLE of sort of software i'm looking for ACID PRO 6 http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp?PID=1005?]. Are there any better? Price is not an issue for me. Thanks.
Charlie Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Sibelius is good, but it costs loads of money. Although as money isn't an issue you should get this.
Nintendork Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Price is always an issue unless you intend to pirate it. So I'll say Logic Pro. Because you can't pirate an Apple Mac.
Fields Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Can't you just do it in Garage Band or something?
The Bard Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Audacity is al u nead. I've got a specal lin 6 ridfftrackedr one shit or guitar stufd, its realy godo, but gert audacity.
Zell Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Sibelius is probably the best out there. I have sibelius 3 which aided me through my GCSE, but it excellent for professional uses as well. However as Moria said, it's pricey (unless you download it).
Dratoon Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 it depends what your level is,Qbase is amazing if your advanced
Twozzok Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Errm, Sibelius is notation software first, other stuff last. Depending on what equipment you have available, i'm gonna say either Cubase SX or as you said ACID. If you're recording though, with mics and stuff, i'm gonna say ProTools HD
