Laptop Frequently Dying

I've always chalked it up to low battery, but its charged and itself said the battery is on 99%, so why has it crashed out on me after less than 10 minutes?

Happened to mine too, used to last 6 hours on average use.. now it lasts 20 minutes.

 

Mine is part of the Sony recall which is currently happening. You should check if you are qualified.. Sony are picking up the bill for faulty batteries.

Mine is a Toshiba I think (its in a bag somewhere and im lazy). Used to be my friends, he said he never used it that much. Don't think its more than two years old.

Toshiba, IBM/Lenovo, Apple and Dell have all had battery recalls, it seems to be in the same time frame as me.

 

Check the Toshiba website with your serial to see if you can get a free exchange.

Hey Nintendork, could I get more info on that? my partner has a Sony laptop and just want to see if its included because the battery isn't as good as it should be.

Sony themselves aren't actually included because thus far, no Sony laptops have exploded.

Could be overheating, always a problem with laptops
