Sarka Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 How can you convert wma files into MP3 files. Thanks
Guest Offerman Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 http://www.wma-mp3.com/ Whats wrong with Google.
Charlie Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 You can't convert them if they're protected though (ie. bought from Napster). You can also drag WMA's into iTunes and it can convert them, AAC is standard but you can change that in the options.
Sarka Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Thanks! And I forgot about Google completely... oops
Shorty Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 http://www.wma-mp3.com/ Whats wrong with Google. If everyone used Google this board would be no use :p
Lammie Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 If you have DRM encoded WMA files, just burn them to CD and rip them back as MP3 or whatever format you like.
Mr_Odwin Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 As shaq365 says lossy to lossy isn't the best thing. If you are gonna convert them to mp3 do it at a highish bitrate (192+) to minimise the effect of the conversion. Why are you doing it?

Maybe he's got an iPod, the stupid* things can't play WMA's because Apple hates Microsoft... *iPods actually rock
RoadKill Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 If everyone used Google this board would be no use :p That's far from true. However most stupid questions can be resolved with wikipedia or google.
