AshMat Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 It's not big . How would you know? You ahven't seen it yet. :p
Jack Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 That reminds me, ever seen irreversible? I had to have a lie down after that scene.
KingJoe Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I disagree with censorship of all kinds*, and that 'entertainment' has to be enjoyable. Maybe in the context of the film, a brutal act is needed to disorient the audience, or for many other reasons of pure story-telling. So I'm thinking the scene is defensible, and perhaps we should all wait and see before demaning that cinema fits in with our ideas of taste and decency. edit: except the censorship of spelling mistakes, obviously. And I suppose age restrictions are a fairly good idea.
Mokong Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 i find it shocking that a high profile young actress as Dakota Fanning would be involved in such a film or even any child for that matter, like was said before they could "suggest" that something has happened without having to shoot an actual scene of the event happening
Demuwan Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006  WHAT KIND OF PARENT WOULD ALLOW THIS   her mother, Joy, and her agent, Cindy Osbrink have both stated that they see this film as being a potential "Oscar-vehicle" for her that just says it all
