Max Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 i love botlon, funny team that has both agression and talent. BIG sam always has his wierd tactics and funny set peice play. great team.
Guest Stefkov Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 That was Bolton vs Newcastle... it was Kevin Nolan that shoved Ramage in the back. Thats the one. I was laughing but really annoyed at that. I cant help laughing at the own goal Ashley Cole made happen. The amount of force it came off Essien was unbelievable.
Atomic Boo Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Im going to see Aston Villa vs Chelsea on tuesday. Gonna be cool. I support Man U but its good to see a top premiership game with great players. Will obviously be supporting Villa, seeing as its their home game and I dont want Chelsea to gain any more points on United.
Goron_3 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 OOo Mk Dons are second ! We're so gonna get back up :P
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Looks like Micah Richards could be on his way to Chelsea. 18 million is the estimated value. Now, this really angers me for 2 reasons. Reason 1: This just sounds like the whole Shaun Wright-Phillips saga again. "Buy him, and he keeps the bench warm for a year or three." Wright-Phillips has really only just starting to break into the Chelsea team...if you can call it that. Chelsea seem to be buying him as a replacement for the injured John Terry. But, when Terry comes back, what chance has he got coming into the first team again? Carvalho is a Jose Mourinho firm favourite, and Ferreira is also there...again, he'll be on the subs bench. Reason 2: His England prospects. You're no good for the team if you can't get a game in edgeways. Wright-Phillips and Wayne Bridge were 2 hopefuls, but have since gone down the pecking order since moving to Chelsea. Why? Because they couldn't/can't get the games. If he's got any sense, he'll stay with Man City. My opinion.

Platty Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 :blank: 18 million is a joke. I hate Chelski.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 It's a high price, but it's not as if money is a problem for them. The higher the price, the bigger the lure, and the bigger the chance that Man City will cave in to their offer.

Nah if he goes he'll play right back when Terry comes back they've been stuck with Geremi at the moment, Mourinho has barely played Ferreira this year. Edit: And after hsi comical display on Saturday I wouldnt imagine he'll be playing any time soon.

Right?
Noodleman Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Yeah with Geremi, Bouhlarouz and Bridge rotated in as need be.
Max Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 i think the only reason they get those players is that 1) prevent utd, arsenal from getting them. 2) have large depth and a good squad. 3) screw the national teams, every man for himself!
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Yeah with Geremi, Bouhlarouz and Bridge rotated in as need be. I think Bouhlarouz has been shocking since he's arrived. You never know, he might pull a "Drogba" on us and show his true form next year.
harribo Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Apparently Celtic have made an offer of £1.1 million for Chris Brunt. Any of our resident Celtic fans heard anything about this?
gmac Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 haven't heard anything about this, and never even heard of the guy, but looking up his profile it says he's a winger and atm we don't really need one of those imho, should be a striker and centre half we're focusing on in January
Max Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 apparently maschorano is a possibility for united and juventus. he hasnt been given a chance to prove himself at west ham. numbers around 5-8 million are floating around.

Stocka Posted December 29, 2006 Author Posted December 29, 2006 Adebayor and Walcott out so hopefully Baptista will start upfront. I'm so eager to see more of him
gmac Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 so Celtic sign Steven Pressley, ex-Ranger and Hearts captain up until 3 weeks ago on a free transfer for 18 months. Ironically his first league game is likely to be against his former club at their ground in 2 weeks time, should be fun
Atomic Boo Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Does anyone know when Henry is coming back for Arsenal?
Ramar Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Does anyone know when Henry is coming back for Arsenal? Henry said he wants to be back for the Liverpool games in January. Whether he'll make it or not is a different question.
Platty Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Just got back from Charlton vs Villa at the Valley. Deserved win for Charlton, they battled well and im glad they got the win. Was a good atmosphere there today, I enjoy it.
