I'm interested to see what control scheme different companies will adopt for their racing games. We have all seen how Excite Truck will control, and I'm sure many other racing games will be like this or something similar. Sorry if this is off topic, but maybe some of you will remember the control method I suggested for something like Excitebike (or maybe even Wave Race) but for some reason, Road Rash has just come into my head and I was thinking how maybe the bike could be controlled (as 'normal') with the Analogue Stick while instead of pressing a button to knock your opponents off their bikes, you swipe at them with the motion sensors in the Wiimote and Nunchuck (depending on what side they are on)

Again, apologies about the location of this post and it's irellevance to this topic.

In relation to those game announcements though, I'm really glad to see Prince of Persia there and another racing game (GT) seemingly at launch. I am always a little concerned of there being a bit of a dearth of racing games on Nintendo Consoles that appeal to the masses since the N64 era, although with F-Zero, Wave Race, 1080, Mario Kart and V-Rally I have been more than satisfied.
