Retro_Link Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Why not the; Nintendo us as in the word; us The word - us - has EXACTLY the same meaning Nintendo wants to put across of a gaming community. It again, is a word that is transferable/pronouncable right across the world. It is a name with fantastic marketing potential. Nintendo us could also be said as the letters u, s, which would tie it in with and make it recognisable to the ds market. The name Nintendo us would be recognisable to all those with a Nintendo ds, so all those who bought a ds, might want to try the 'us', because it's another similarly fantastic system. It could also stand for something like 'unique system'.
demonmike04 Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 You should really keep this in the actual thread.. They wont changed the name.
glucoseaddict Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 If they called it the Nintendo Us that would make people think of the USA. Not a good thing imo.
Retro_Link Posted April 28, 2006 Author Posted April 28, 2006 Yeah ok i'll post it in the other thread; this one can be locked or whatever.
