Ashley Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 The Screen Actors Guild, currently on strike from film and TV productions in America (along with writers), is balloting it's members on whether to strike from the gaming industry. Voting will run from September 5th to 25th and if a strike went ahead it would affect the following companies: Activision Productions Inc., Blindlight LLC, Disney Character Voices Inc., Electronic Arts Productions Inc., Epic Games, Inc., Formosa Interactive LLC, Insomniac Games Inc., Take 2 Productions Inc., VoiceWorks Productions Inc., and WB Games Inc. Main points are AI, working conditions and pay. Source: https://deadline.com/2023/09/sag-aftra-possible-strike-video-game-companies-1235533458/ 1

Loads of talented actors get treated like utter crap, especially when it comes to gaming, and it's really become apparant with some companies taking the absolute mick and using AI to get around paying them for their services. More power to them! 1
