Not particularly my style Spent an hour with the game today and I quite like it as a whole. We'll see if I stick with it.
drahkon Posted July 15 Posted July 15 After 5 hours I can say: The Legend of Dragoon is soooo slow. The battle transitions, the animations (especially in battles), the menus, loading times... Enjoying my time with it, but the game could've used a 1.5x speed up option

Most PS1 JRPGs ran like this. 19 minutes ago, drahkon said: Downloaded Jeanne d'Arc and gonna give that a go tonight. Get Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters downloaded and played.

I'm not holding it against the game, it's just that I don't like spending 50% of my time watching battle transitions and animations 2 minutes ago, Hero-of-Time said: Get Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters downloaded and played. drahkon Posted July 16 Posted July 16 My ineptitude with SJRPGs probably doesn't help but I'm having a really hard time with Jeanne d'Arc. Which is embarrassing as it's supposed to be piss easy Currently stuck at a stage where I have to guide all my characters to the end of the map without any of them dying. But it's easier said then done when they die in just two hits...

drahkon Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I love the grind. Currently farming one particular level. Not giving me a lot of exp but occasionally I get some Attack +3 gems which I can combine to eventually get a few Attack +10 gems. I will be quite strong once I'm content with the amount I have
drahkon Posted July 17 Posted July 17 When you farm a stage so much that every turn basically is a matter of muscle memory and then your characters become too strong and the way turns play out changes... 1

drahkon Posted July 18 Posted July 18 (edited) Work is sooooo slow right now...waiting on someone to finish his stuff. Time to farm Decided to level up a specific character because she seems to have the highest Magic Attack. Never really used her in battle before so...get that exp, madame Edited July 18 by drahkon

drahkon Posted July 18 Posted July 18 I leveled up Jeanne so much, I was able to complete a story mission just with her.

drahkon Posted July 19 Posted July 19 It's my day off, couldn't sleep very well, woke up super early, feel like crap. Well...you know what time it is
Hero-of-Time Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Given the name of the game, hilarious platinum title. The game wasn't as good as I remember it being. It's still decent but it's easily the worst in the franchise, that's if you don't count Secret Agent Clank. Although I'm still hoping that appears on the service at some point. @drahkon If you are wanting to play one of them at some point, Daxter is definitely the better of the two games. 1
