david.dakota Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Sensibly, what do you think is so Revolutionary about Nintendo's new machine? Jelly buttons? Gyroscopic controls? Stereoscopic 3D? Its all been mentioned... what would make Revolution the hit Nintendo wants. Speculate.
Nintendo Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 to be honest i dnt wot its gonna b! im so excited!
notedog Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I like the new design on ytmnd.com with removable face button plates, each one customised for each game.
Matt Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I honestly haven't got a clue. I'm wanting to REALLY love it - but, in all honesty, I'm expecting at least some disappointment.
ThePigMarcher Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I like the new design on ytmnd.com with removable face button plates, each one customised for each game. Saw that too , was also really impressed with that. I am sort of hoping the shape is similar to the Cube's controller because that thing is just so comfortable.
RivenWinner Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 at this point in time, Im just going to quit guessing, dreaming and thinking, cause you know what.... only a few more hours before the REVOLUTION starts!
SINFIELD Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I personally think that it will be a Gyroscopic control...force feedback in a controller will be an awesome sensation to have in the next generation of consoles. However...if it turns out to be Stereoscopic 3D vision that nintendo have mastered...HAPPY DAYS!!!
Mr_toad Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 It has got to be a simple and attractive piece of hardware for gamers and especially non-gamers. No idea how it looks, though…
Edjamakated Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Well since the deal between Gyration and Nintendo is the only concrete fact we know about the controller, I think it's safe to assume that it will use Gyration in some form. What that form is, I don't know. Nor do I know what else is implemented into the controller/console. However, I do know that the best way to utilize Gyration is in a two-part splittable controller. Having Gyration in a standard boomerang type controller allows nothing new when compared to games already out such as Wario Ware and Kirby Tilt and Tumble....well besides far greater accuracy. Why would Nintendo sign a deal with Gyration for an un-diclosed amount? Because they wanted everyone to use Tilt and Tumble controls....I doubt it. That's not very revolutionary. Who knows though, they may use Gyration not for its ability to sense tilt, pitch, and yaw, but maybe for its tactile feedback.... Anyway...your geuss is as good as mine.
Sarka Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 It's gonna be sleek, sexy, good and Reolutionary.
SINFIELD Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 What happens if nintendo decide to rename the console....the NINTENDO 361 or something? will we be redirected to another web site in a couple of days ;-)
Howcro Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I like the new design on ytmnd.com with removable face button plates, each one customised for each game. http://revolutionagain.ytmnd.com/ This is that design, and it really does look awesome. The guy who designed this should work for Nintendo! Looks so real aswell.
pedrocasilva Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 What happens if nintendo decide to rename the console....the NINTENDO 361 or something? will we be redirected to another web site in a couple of days ;-)I hope they rename it "Nintendo 69" cause if they dont show the damn thing they fuck*d us again, and I have to get up early tomorow.
