david.dakota Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Seems some rumours of a Nintendo tablet powered by Android have surfaced. The device, mentioned in Twitter post (subsequently taken down) by Nintendo engineer Nando Monterazo, is said to run a heavily 'modified' version of Android and aimed specifically at the educational sector. Clearly not aimed at us lot here. Source.
Hero-of-Time Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 One of the guys on the 8-4 podcast said that they should do this just the other week. Mario's Time Machine 2, anyone?
Ike Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Seems pointless to me unless this is for Japan only. Apple/Google(/Microsoft?) probably has the most of the US and Europe/UK covered already.
Retro_Link Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Should come with the Professor Layton games, Brain Training (etc...) installed on it! Mario is Missing, aswell ;p
Serebii Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Consensus on GAF was to not trust this guy anyway But, it is no different to their various other efforts away from games. The internet is just going to over-react with this as evidenced by the first line "Could this be the start... "
