Dog-amoto Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Just noticed this was posted in the movie thread, but surely it deserves its own! Yippee-ki-yay...
Daft Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I loved Die Hard 4. It's the perfect dumb action film.
Captain Falcon Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Hopefully it won't be as bad as Die Hard 4. I enjoyed 4.0 despite Justin Long and Kevin Smith trying to persuade me otherwise, but then I like all the films and will definitely go see this.
The Peeps Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I didn't hate it, it's just forgetable. I can barely remember any of it and I have no idea who the villain was. Maybe I just need to watch it again.... but of course I'd have to watch the first three again first... sounds like a plan actually!
Daft Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 The Asian chick. Kevin Smith. The bit where he smashes the helicopter with a car. The bit where he dives of a jet fighter onto a collapsing freeway. The ridiculous technopocalyptic story. How could you forget all that, it's hysterical. Yes.
gaggle64 Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Die Hard 4.0 is one of those movies that feels like they wrote & filmed the trailer first and then had to throw a movie together around that.
Jimbob Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Couldn't they just leave old franchises alone, i know Bruce Willis is reprising his role. I'll watch it all the same, but from 4.0 i'm not expecting it to be better.
The Peeps Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I remember there was a technical nerd guy and there was something to do with a phone or something and Bruce Willis drove a car into a helicopter but yeah that's about it.
EEVILMURRAY Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I remember there was a technical nerd guy and there was something to do with a phone or something and Bruce Willis drove a car into a helicopter but yeah that's about it. Same here, in fact I can't even remember the helicopter bit. All I know is that Die Hard films aren't about bloody computers.
