Jimbob Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Hmm, Halo looks ok. What is this we are watching now, looks impressive.
Dog-amoto Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 This conference is already three times better than 2011.
Cookyman Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 This conference is already three times better than 2011. thats not saying much.
Retro_Link Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Thought Halo was little boring, Splinter Cell is looking good, but I'm not sure if too many franchises are starting to merge together/look too similar; in terms of setting and gameplay. I'd rather they'd taken Splinter Cell back to it's extreme beginnings of light and shade, but hey.
Dog-amoto Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 thats not saying much. That's my point Haha. I'd get every man sent off in FIFA for swearing. Good job I don't have Kinect!
James Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 The only thing looking good so far is Splinter Cell, Halo looked like it's usual boring self.
Captain Falcon Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Maybe it's just me but Halo looked particularly Metroidy to me with the helmet outline on screen, the jungle setting and even the enemy design that looked suspsicously like a space pirate - the different visor effects was the real kicker. Splinter Cell did look very impressive I thought. The graphics didn't seem a patch on Halo from a technical stand point but the animation was sublime on Sam the fast, fluid gameplay looked like lots of fun.
Jimbob Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Doesn't sound like they are bringing a new Xbox anytime soon, according to the guy at the start.
Retro_Link Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 No one applauds for Fable. The Microsoft conference really does just feel like the same thing every year, no?
Dog-amoto Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I'm sure they did this last year too. There's only so much you can do with voice recognition. And it's hard to get excited about being able to watch a wider variety of sports or films on Xbox. Show the fucking games!!
Retro_Link Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Conference is same every year! So far there's been... Halo, Splinter Cell (new), EA Sports, Gears, Forza, Xbox Channels/Sports, Kinect Menu Navigation...
Jimbob Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Agreed, bring the games. I wanna see more games, sod this stupid Kinect shizzle.
Jimbob Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Ok, the NBA makes me excited. Thats it for this video streaming stuff.
Cookyman Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Ok, the NBA makes me excited. Thats it for this video streaming stuff. Now we've got music streaming!
Jimbob Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Oh............... My music, my way. I'll leave it on the mp3 player i got then.
Retro_Link Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Anyone know how long this conference is? Hope for their sake it's not 1hr!
