ReZourceman Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 If one were to make a (several) chicken wraps (Tortilla, cooked chicken breast/pre-prepared LoL/strips from a packet, lettuce, peppers) And them put them in the freezer. A) Is it safe B) If you take one out at the start of the day, would it defrost by lunch time. C) etc D) Will I get food bloggening?
EddieColeslaw Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 If the chicken is already cooked, it should be fine, nothing will reverse the cooked-ness. HOWEVER, won't it go all soggy and wet? Maybe defrost, dry them with kitchen towels, then toast them somehow? Or is this for a lunchbox type thing?
Raining_again Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 it wont kill you but it will taste like absolute shite!
MoogleViper Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 A) Yes. B) Highly unlikely, would need to take it out the night before. C) Definitely. D) No.
Jamba Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 What everyone else said. I'd suggest making the chicken and salsa mix, put it in the fridge and then assemble it all in the morning and wrap it in tin foil.
