Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc Getting HD Makeover

Attention Rayman fans, Ubisoft recently announced that in celebration of the return of Rayman in his all-new adventure, Rayman Origins, the fan favorite Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc is returning with an all-new high-definition makeover for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network this spring.

The game originally released on the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Windows PC in 2003 and, as the name suggests, was the third title in the million-selling platforming series by game designer and creator of Beyond Good & Evil – Michel Ancel.

Here’s a description of Hoodlum Havoc HD:

In Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc HD, fans and newcomers alike can now enjoy this piece of video game history with stunning new HD graphics. Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc HD provides 15–20 hours of gameplay and a wealth of extra content to unlock, including nine fun stand-alone mini-games, achievements and worldwide online leaderboards. In addition, the game has been updated to run at 60 frames per second and offers improved audio quality!

@Fused King Bet this news must be mighty tempting! :p

HOW CAN PEOPLE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CALL THIS GAME JUNK!!!?!!

This, to me, was the pinnacle of the Rayman series.

A world so full of charm.

Characters so full of character.

Visuals to cream over!

Give me some reasonable arguments against Rayman: Hoodlum Havoc and I won't listen to them and continue to rave about this game, but present some to me anyway.

I have no 'other console', but I recently bought this game again for the GameCube and played it on my Wii.

Though a tad short, 't has aged brilliantly!

You have to be slightly autistic to think the "world" of Rayman is anything other than a slapshot menagerie of flimsy ramps and ledges designed to simultaneously annoy anyone over the age of twelve and provide an excuse for jumping on shit.

Definitely a step down from Rayman 2.
