Murr Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Comic-Con: Gremlins Game Coming to Wii, DS Tucked away on the Comic-Con 2011 show floor is a small booth running a trailer for a new Gremlins game. Called Gremlins Gizmo, it's coming to Wii and DS on November 18. Gremlins Gizmo appears to be a mini-game collection with some virtual pet elements. Most of the footage I saw featured Gizmo doing things like lifting weights and playing ping pong against the player. But other Mogwais can be collected, too, and customized with various outfits like pirates and ninjas. Of course, Gizmo is known for singing and dancing, and those mini-games are included, as well. The trailer is fairly long, but none of the footage showed any Gremlins -- just Mogwai. It's a bit strange that the trailer is being shown here at Comic-Con confirming the release date without an official announcement. We'll have more on this curious game as soon as it's available. Source - IGN. Random, I love Gremlins, but this doesn't sound like the type of game I'd want to associate with the film franchise. meh.

I don't know, I'd love a Gremlins 3, But then again they'd probably use CGI for the Gremlins which would look crap. can't beat the puppet look from the first 2 films. Stupid question but are Ghostbusters on their way back? cause we had one full game and an XBLA game recently released, and ever increasing rumours then denies about a 3rd film. I'd guess this is the same sorta thing.

I'd guess this is the same sorta thing. Ghostbusters has been on it's way back for ages! Dan Ackroyd has been writing a new script since god knows when. The game was as much a part anniversary celebrations as relaunching the franchises. Gremlins has been rumoured.
Guy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 This game looks and sounds like a huge pile of crap. I adore Gremlins and I won't be laying money down on this. Gremlins 2 on Gameboy, now that's where it's at.
