Retro_Link Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 http://n-europe.com/news.php?nid=15677 E3 2011: Assassin's Creed Wii U Unveiled The final game formally announced at the Ubisoft developers round table is an entry of the Assassin's Creed franchise. The last game on display that Ubisoft unveiled is a new entry in the acclaimed series Assassin's Creed. Not much of the title was shown but Ubisoft mentioned that the game will have all new features for the Wii U and that the "powerful multicore technology" would let the developers freely use their existing assets and shading technology for the title which is being developed by a dedicated team in Ubisoft Montreal. As for what will be available on the controller, it will feature a persistant on-screen map, interactive databases, fast weapon selection and easy access to Eagle Vision/Sense all on the screen. When asked if the title was a new entry or a port of the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ubisoft only replied with it will be "the best Assassin's Creed experience it can be." N-Europe will be deliver you more news as E3 continues. We shall have to wait and see whether it's an exclusive chapter, or the ultimate version of Revelations.
Jamba Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 "Not much of the title was shown" I didn't think they showed it at all.
Magnus Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 When asked if the title was a new entry or a port of the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ubisoft only replied with it will be "the best Assassin's Creed experience it can be." So it's a port. Otherwise you'd think they wouldn't sidestep the question like that.
ShadowV7 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 They sidestepped pretty much every question in their Q&A panel. Why they decided o have a Q&A is more of a mystery than why NoE refuse to upload videos on the eShop.
gaggle64 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I would happily by some sort of WiiU Assassins compilation. A port of Revelations would also be fine.
