Hamishmash Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 So how do I get AR cards for these guys? Buy them? Print them off?
Serebii Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 That's a very good question I made facsimilies for it
Hamishmash Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 http://www.pokemonaus.com/?p=3585 That's a good site. Found some new ones.
Debug Mode Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Well that was over with quickly.. all stickers obtained. If only they made it for Street Pass, with QR codes the temptation is far too strong to just get it over with.
Debug Mode Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 so what am i meant to do with the AR Viewer thing? Find the 'stickers' of other pokemon to obtain their silhouette. Not sure what this does though..
Hamishmash Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 The stickers don't do much yet. You get given 3 new Pokemon a day, and if you have their stickers then you're more likely to obtain them.

If only they made it for Street Pass, with QR codes the temptation is far too strong to just get it over with. Thing is, the QR Codes, or AR Markers as they're called, don't activate the Pokémon here. In fact, scanning all of them is quite possibly the worst thing you could do
ShadowV7 Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 The models for the Pokémon looked better than I imagined. So clean and awesome.
Gentleben Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Thing is, the QR Codes, or AR Markers as they're called, don't activate the Pokémon here. In fact, scanning all of them is quite possibly the worst thing you could do But that didn't stop you puting the QR codes for nearly all the Pokemon on Serebii.net. You going to explain why it's possibly the worst thing? or continue to talk in riddles?
Daroh Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 I think he means that you need to scan a code to increase your chances of getting that particular pokemon... by scanning them all, your essentially drastically lowering your chances of getting a particular one... if I'm understanding it right..?

Absolutely right, my good man. I put them on Serebii.net so people can easily get their favourite Escavalier, or Galvantula
Serebii Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Really surprised you people aren't joining in. Post your pics;
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Hate to be anal here, but isn't Samurott supposed to stand on his hind legs when he brandishes his swords?... Holding one whilst on all three looks silly. ...I mean, I simply LOVE Samurott.
ShadowV7 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I would, just need to print off some AR Marker for some Pokéfun.
Adthegreat Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Really surprised you people aren't joining in. Do I have to print the code thing to use the AR features?
Serebii Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Do I have to print the code thing to use the AR features? Yeah, or load them up on a phone or anything with a screen
Adthegreat Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Yeah, or load them up on a phone or anything with a screen Oh yeah, I almost forgot that I took my Mii pictures just by using my laptop to show the code thing. Thanks Will post some if they turn out well.
Serebii Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 The manual indicates their intent is for you to scan it off of a friend's 3DS but say you can print them or even hand draw them
Adthegreat Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 The manual indicates their intent is for you to scan it off of a friend's 3DS but say you can print them or even hand draw them There's a manual Wow, it's quite in-depth too.
LegoMan1031 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Does anyone else not get a notification for spot pass when they get a pokemon? I ask as i came home from work today with no blue light (it was on standby) but i opened up the console and the pokedex had a blue light next to it which let me download a pokemon... I came back to it an hour later, no light but opened the console and the blue light next to the app was there...closed console, waited 5 minutes opened it back up and the same again!
Adthegreat Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I don't think it's supposed to have a system blue light, since it doesn't appear in your notifications either. Instead, as you said, the only blue light is on the app icon itself.
ShadowV7 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 The blue LED is only for notifications that appear in the notification list. Everything else has a blue circle on the app/game with new content.
LegoMan1031 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Ah right. So does it depends on the game/software? Because even though i have not played it, i thought that DoA gives u a notification light that it has downloaded something new for the game etc! Sorry if i'm sounding like an idiot! This is my first few days of actually leaving my 3DS in standby so i'm 'learning'.
