Ok so Jim and I want to go see the Lion King musical this summer (when we're coming for the N-E meet). Now we're looking at tickets and we have no clue what seats to go for haha.

Has anyone been? What seats did you have and was the view any good?

Also, the seats in the lowest region, are they on a slope? So like, if I have a tall person sitting in front of me I can still see something?

Wondering cause the tickets are quite pricey, so we want to get the best out of it! =)

Yeah, I went for tickets that weren't incredibly expensive so they were on the lower level nearer the back and the view was absolutely fine. It is sloped and you'll be fine having a person in front.

The person in front of me (or next to me?) kept looking at their phone and it was so bright, this was the one downside, people will have to sit next to you! I think for me the tickets were £50 each ish? So not really expensive for the great show I was able to see!

You won't regret it!

Whoo thanks!

We were looking at the lower section in the back haha.

Most is already sold out actually, so not many options left (well lots of the really expensive ones, ouch).

Think I'll order the tickets soon then. =D

Cheers for the info, dude.

Were you in the stalls, then? What would the view be like in the Royal Circle? (think its the one after the stalls. Then there's the Grand Circle after that)

I think we were in Royal Circle. I can't remember exactly where but it was bottom floor near the back in the centre. The place itself isn't massive inside so when I say back it isn't THAT far back.

From my knowledge, the stalls are generally the seats at the bottom right in front of the stage and then the Royal Circle is the next level up.

You'll get a decent view from anywhere, it is a theatre afterall and people expect to be able to see the performance no matter where they sit. When I go to the Kings Theatre in Glasgow we generally try and sit in the Royal Circle as you get a better view of whats going on. Looking down on it rather than looking up. I sat in the stalls for We Will Rock You when I saw that in Edinburgh and it was still good though.

I think I was in similar seats to Ell, I bought mine on the day and I have to say it's one of the best pieces of theater I've seen(not that I've seen alot), it really makes use of the environment and everything and I never felt like I was missing anything being where I was.

I was in like X13 of the stalls and happy enough. As Charlie said I don't think you can really end up with bad seats, though I personally wouldn't have minded being a little closer.

Thanks guys!

Bought the tickets today, we're in the Stalls on row T. Almost got front row seats on the Royal Circle but was a bit afraid the railing would get in the way haha.

So yeah should be gooooood! =)

Should be pretty bangin seats. I like the stalls because you're kind of closer to the stage, though of course you can't neccesarilly see as well. There were a few things in my eyeline that were annoying at first where I was sitting, kind of made me realise I was in the back of a theater, but the show is so amazing that any little irks like that'll be gone in no time. It even opens spectacularly :p
