Most definitely as long as it's not a front for insults under the guise of "banter". I was trying to be a touch subtle and not name any names in any of my posts (when speaking in a negative light). But since I'm clearly not in this topic to make friends, after slagging off a chunk of the forum, I'll come right out with it and say I was specifically referring to Dan Dare when I mentioned trolling moderators. I perhaps wouldn't have done but reading his comment in the General Chat Board's equivalent thread, I figured why not. I'm not saying he does very often because he doesn't at all, it's just every time I've seen him post in here. He even got accused of it in that thread and you thanked the post doing so but now I'm the bad guy for bringing his name up? Anyway... it's exactly posts like that, as we should both know, usually kick off massive arguments on here. I thanked Dan for being honest, not because of his actions. Not that his actions don't amuse me greatly, they absolutely do. You guys bite when baited, that can't be denied. Maybe it isn't right for a mod to be doing stuff like that, I dunno. It isn't like the mods or admins on here haven't done far more questionable stuff in the past. I guess as a fellow Wii board troll I don't see the big deal like you guys maybe do. If you wanna keep calling on them on shit they do, feel free to keep wasting your time. I used to do that and nothing changed. If you wanna stay here you'll have to deal with their methods, questionable as they might sometimes be. I learned this the very hard way, and no that doesn't mean I like it. As Jonnas says, the thank was for the post that called him out on it - that's what I was referring to. He's also bang on with the biting when baited comment. As for being the "internet wayback machine", finding a post from last week on a forum that sees about 150 regular posters, 2/3 of which are in general in the same half a dozen topics, of which this wasn't one of them, doesn't take much doing. And it's nothing to do with remembering everything you do - it's about remembering what I read which happens to be a lot. I don't think you're a troll - far from it. Until this, I can't recall seeing one of your posts down here and I normally find you a source of much amusement in the gen section. If I want to stay here... Why, is stating the obvious not allowed? You may have been wasting your time but that's no reason to suggest I'm wasting mine. We aren't the same and I'm sure we have our own methods about going about things. Calling them out and doing ban-able offenses don't have to be the same action. But thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to remember it since it came from you - I just hope it doesn't scare you. Well the "If you wanna stay here..." line made it sound that I either fall in line or make my way quietly to the exit whilst escorted by the gentlemen with blue and red names.
