Wesley Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Hey, would you be interested in advertising through my placement department at my uni? There are a bunch of courses and similar placements that are ran through the department.
dazzybee Posted July 28, 2010 Author Posted July 28, 2010 Yeah sure that'd be great. Which Uni?! Lincoln or Huddersfield?
Wesley Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 It's at Huddersfield. The contact I have for the placement department is Fran Shaw. I'll get the contact info from the web listings for you. EDIT: (01484) 472782 [email protected] That's her office number and e-mail. Looking at the stuff you're after I know a bunch of courses and people that can do all that stuff, so I don't see why they wouldn't list it.
dazzybee Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 minimum wage is mean. How is it? Most internships pay £250 per month. That's it. And I think they're great! It's incredibly hard getting a job in these industries and you need experience, that's what these offer, with a potential job at the end of it (not minimum wage)... I don't understand what isn't great about it. Bloody hell, can't give a job away
Wesley Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 It's fine, really. I get paid around £150-£175 a month for my placement... Like dazzybee said, it really is worth it if experience is a major plus for the career.
Ashley Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Maybe it was more of a general snipe at the rate of minimum wage, rather than you specifically paying it
