Dr. Andonuts is a character from the Earthbound/Mother series

OK This is an add one but I thought i'd post it nontheless. I'm not even sure it warrants it's own thread but here we are.

The name was put on a door at nintendo e3

Somebody from Destructoid checked it out, but there was only a Nintendo employee behind the door.

What do you think? Is nintendo screwing with us or is it merely coincidence. I've never played this series personally.

Could it be a sign of another earthbound?

You think it means anything?

It always seemed like an incredible fun series to play, yet I never could play it on emulators or the like :(

All I'm hoping is that they, NINTENDO, put the complete series on 1 disc or cartrigde:D

I didn't like Earthbound that much. Sure, it had that quirkiness to keep me going, but the story was dire. Probably because it was a spoof of a type of RPGs I never liked.

Mother 3, however, was excellent. Great plot, great humour, it kept me going for several reasons. If I had to list a flaw, it has to be the fact that there are a few direct references to Earthbound in the story, which means you probably should play that first.

As for this...I have no idea what it could mean. The series' creator specifically said the trilogy is over.

I think that's what I liked about it - the story was pretty darn wacky and I thought that was the point - it's meant to have that weird Japanese humour that nobody gets. It's exactly the same with Goemon. But indeed, the quirkiness is what worked - everything was so bizarre that you felt compelled to continue, because you had virtually no idea what might happen next.

Plus, the Runaway Five performances were epic. Excellent homage to the Blues Brothers!

What bothered me was that they left few hints in the way of what to do next. It wasn't bad when it was obvious what city was available next, but when the solution to puzzles starts looking like a point-and-click game, it's frustrating. Especially since your inventory has limitations.
