Mucky.Fingers Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Now I'm not sure if there are any rules against this etc so apologies if so. As with many people these days I am moving all of my dvd collection into digital format, and generally using iTunes tv artwork. Unfortunately two tv shows are not on itunes so I'm unable to use the artwork from their. The two shows in question are "Men Behaving Badly" and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. I was wondering if anyone could make some custom mades for all six seasons of "Men..." and both Phoenix Nights. I am willing to pay £1 for each artwork. cdcovers.cc has the dvd scans but I'm looking for itunes size square artwork. At least 400 x 400. This is more in hope than expectation but you gotta ask right..?
Paj! Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 You sure you don't want to just...resize an existing image? It's not that hard, I use GIMP (free image editor) to make my iTunes artwork. It would save you money...
Mucky.Fingers Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 Unfortunately just resizing them would make the image dimension wrong as the normal dvd images are taller than the square artwork like the itunes store artwork. It is an option I may have to resort to but ideally don't want to Thanks
Emasher Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Could you not just crop them somewhat? It would depend on the design, but it might be easier. TBH, most people are going to want more than that for custom artwork.

Supergrunch Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 ReZ, I think you should post all the images at once, so that we can make sure you won't just make a really good first one and just shit for the rest.
Sec Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) So realistic looking. what did you use? photoshop? illustrator? I have never laughed so much at a thread post, thank you reZ ! Edited February 10, 2010 by Sec
Goafer Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 You may all joke, but ReZ has really impressed me there. For one, there's not a cock in sight.

Supergrunch Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Well, anyway... obviously not getting anywhere here. Thanks To be honest, I don't really see what anyone could do for you that'd be any better than cropping the DVD covers...
Mucky.Fingers Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Well from what I've seen from other projects etc there are some extremely talented folk that hang out around these parts so thought it was worth an ask
Emasher Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Like I said, you're not going to get anything decent for £1.
