Molly Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Help! I'm probably being stupid, but Adobe reader won't play ball. I can download it but then it won't work. I'm getting this error message: Anyone?
Molly Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 I tried shouting at it and I think I've definitely loosened it up. A bit. Ok I've just found this page. It looks a bit much but I guess I'll try. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402867.html
Ganepark32 Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Try this: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=886549 Others on the net have gone through and read that to get it working. Hopefully that will be of some use. If not, apologies.
Molly Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 Thanks Ganepark! ''serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly'' Ahhh I don't like this.
Shorty Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Try foxit, an alternative program http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/
Mr_Odwin Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 What Shorty said. You'll be amazed that a PDF reader doesn't take four hours just to open.
Molly Posted October 29, 2009 Author Posted October 29, 2009 Try foxit, an alternative program http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/ I love you. *manically claps*
Ten10 Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Yeah I was going to say use foxit and avoid the adobe reader crap. Foxit opens any pdf there and then. Not after load classes and plugins xyz.
