Tellyn Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 As you're all probably aware, the forum has been suffering from some frustrating glitches and errors over the past few weeks. Michael, the Server Adminâ„¢, has been doing some fantastic work over the past couple of days and has managed to sort out a lot of these problems. They're appearing much less frequently now. We'll be updating the forums to the latest version of VBulletin in an attempt to neutralise every last glitch, but the forums will be down for about an hour or so whilst the update takes place. This is scheduled to take place at around 3AM, when we're hoping most of you will be fast asleep. Just a warning, and we won't be seeing nearly as much downtime as we suffered yesterday. Everything should be fine and dandy tomorrow.
Ashley Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Update from me. While the forum upgrade itself shall take about an hour or so we've agreed to keep the forums off so I can sort out all the site specific stuff (obviously Michael is the technical wizz who will set it up) and turn the switch back on but I am waking up at 7.20ish so again nobody should really notice, other than the eternally noctural jayseven.
jayseven Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 It's ok, Jimbob. The maintenance was 3am this morning. Shockingly, even I missed it.
