MoogleViper Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 My mum needs a monitor cable but I've been looking around and there are loads of Belkin ones but they are getting terrible reviews. Can anyone recommend a good one. Don't want to pay loads for it.
RoadKill Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Cheap VGA cable: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130553 Cheap DVI cable: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130565 Assuming you need to replace the cable. There are extension cables there for just as cheap too.
Mr_Odwin Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 With the p&p on a cheap cable it sometimes works out cheaper to go to your small local computer shop (if there is one, not PC World/Currys/Comet) and buy one from there, rather than ebuyer.
ReZourceman Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I used to be a cable monitor. Someone who watches cables.

Raining_again Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I got mine from Argos and it does the job fine

Except that on the PC World website they want to sell you a 3m VGA lead for 25 quid, but yeah, but if you're passing by, it's worth checking at least
Mr_Odwin Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Yeah, defo not one of those big high street shops. But if you have a little independent shop on some back street that is just run by some guy then they'll often have reasonable prices on cables.
