Raining_again Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I find that Ballymena (where I live now) and Inverness (where I was born and raised) have similar accents... Maybe due to the fact they both aren't overly strong like Belfast and Glasgow accents. I could definitely tell the difference between those
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I think it's somewhat like comparing the different dialects of Jutland (the large peninsula of Denmark). People from the northern part of Jutland have very different accents than those from the sourthern part - plus some variations in between.
not_so_tiny Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Here we go. I dunno if I got the accent right, but to be fair it is hard to get an accent on two words. I lol'd out loud. The whole office now knows I'm not working, it was worth it, that was brilliant Dannyboy.
rokhed00 Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Irish are drunks, Scottish are backwards. Oh accents? Scottish is more phleomy (cant be bothered to spell that correctly), its more at the back of the throat. (p.s. disclaimer; my family are scottish and I love the irish so don't fret :p) It's pretty interchangeable.
ReZourceman Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 Access to YouTube in your office? Ghuh. Jealous. I've only had one entry so far. If it is the only entry I receive I still have an idea (along with my own obv) but yes. All is not lost. Preferably more entries though, people.

Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Heh, glad to see the popularity my crazy eyes get. :p It was just something I improvised. I thought simply saying "Colin Murray" would be too boring, to I just thought of something to spice up the clip a little.
