Punchout Pikmin and more!?

Your excited about 2 games for next year and think Nintendo can pull it out of the bag? No chance! (subjective obviously)

What I don't understand is why most of you people don't appreciate that some people just like different types of games. Your statement is absolute shite anyway since it shouldn't just be down to one company to provide every single game worth buying for one console anyway.

Nintendo have made and continue to make fantastic games for the Wii, it's up to third-parties to also pull their weight (the majority of games you're all waxing lyrical about on the 360 and PS3 are from third-parties). On this front, it looks like this is actually happening on a larger scale in 2009 with titles such as Mad World, House of the Dead, the Conduit, Mushroom Men, Deadly Creatures and a host of WiiWare games announced already.

Back on topic, I think Nintendo have done more to innovate this generation than anyone else. Sony have also done a brilliant job with both new innovations and refining existing ones, though Microsoft have done next to nothing.

You would do well to contribute to forum topics rather than just paste copied shit off the internet all the time.

He might copy paste a lot, but the things he pastes are very useful for these discussions, although I know most people don't like using facts in their arguments.

You can't argue with my observations.

lol, just lol

The idea was there just not the tech. :heh:

Funny to see it being brought back for the Wii. Not sure why they aren't using the balance board.

Well, considering only a fraction of Wii owners have the BB and it's expensive, it's understandable. Not to mention it's not the kind of thing that's easily applied to every game.

minor point, but wasn't Space Harrier more or less the same gig, only with less tech in the cart? I don't know when that dropped though so I dunno what my point is.

Sorry didn't see this one :P Space Harrier had sprites and fake 3D, basically it was just perspective.

The trick is knowing when to switch paste-mode off. If you can't do that you're pretty much a bot.

I apologise as I realise that sounded arrogant, but when you've played it to the extent that I have (a somewhat stupid amount) it can't just be chance that the same thing happens over and over. You might think the Wii Wheel is great, and it probably is a lot of fun for some people. But people just don't excel with the damn thing because compared to a thumbstick setup it just doesn't compete.

That list of games wasn't exactly relevant to be honest. We were talking about what first parties were offering.

That's true.

After getting the drum kit for Rock Band I don't want any more peripherals taking up space. :heh:

It's cool :P I understand what you say, it's obvious that the GC controller offers easier accuracy I'm not saying you're wrong about that, but once used to the Wii Wheel I don't have any accuracy problems. I turn, jump, drift, do tricks, when I want, how I want, where I want. I don't doubt that metagamers (do those exist in MK?) prefer the stick. I understand where you're coming from, but since I can do whatever I do with the GC controller with the Wii Wheel I don't find that happens to me. Which reminds me I havent played MK in ages -.-

True, I don't even have that and with all the games, consoles, peripherals, comics, manga, collectibles, I have lots of space problems xD

And I have a small-ish room!!! It's crazy!!
