Pantsu Man! Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Zavvi was really expensive, I don't see how people could buy stuff there. I went in 2 days ago and No More Heroes on the Wii, in the sale, reduced, was £40. Justify that.

HMV was actually cheaper than Zavvi for most things i was after.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I got some fantastic deals at Zavvi when I was in London last Summer. I got a lot of DVDs, all at about £5-£7. And the pound was stronger then.

That doesn't really make a difference when buying things in the UK, it's only when you buy things from abroad or people from abroad buy things here you notice the difference.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Which is why I noticed. But yes, in the context it doesn't matter.
