david.dakota Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I recall Gamestation having a disk cleaning service. Does this work with the teeny tiny gamecube disks? How much is it?
welsh_gamer Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 It's costs £3 at GAME, so I'd imagine it's the same at Gamestation, and I'm pretty certain they fix Gamecube disks too.
Ashley Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Gamestation use different machines that we did but I think ours did....I only read the instruction thing once (but was made to keep it so if you ask in store they may know)... But the machine basically had a place you popped the disc and then some large padded thing was put on top of it that was the size of a standard dvd but id imagine it would just clean the surface it can touch... Best to ask in store (either store). And if they seem apprehensive ask if they have another copy incase it doesn't work :p
Ganepark32 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Hate Gamestation with their disc cleaning service. I took Call of Duty 4 in to trade for The Orange Box on 360 and they had the cheek to take money off of my trade in because there was a smudge on the disc: a smudge which could have been easily wiped off.
ReZourceman Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 So refuse it, walk out the shop, wipe, walk back in?
Ganepark32 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Wouldn't give me the disc back to sort out. They had scanned it first and that was their reason. Needless to say, I did complain to the head office and a few of the guys that worked in the store no longer work there now.
