Dyson
My LimeWire decided to go all balls up and for weeks now it hasn't connected to the network, even after leaving it connecting for a while. I've messed around with ports and connection settings, tried reinstalling and it simply won't work. So, simply put, anyone got a new P2P program for me to use that isn't LimeWire or LimeWire Pro? *Note: I don't care about torrent compatibility in the program
Mr_Odwin
All my p2p needs (which are not many) are served by μtorrent (torrents), emule (has everything ever, but slow) and grabit (newsgroups).

Dyson
Limewire? Eurgh. uTorrent mate (Y) Which would be superb if I was after a torrent program. I'm looking for a filesharing P2P program
Shorty
Torrent programs are file sharing P2P programs, and significantly superior to spyware infested apps like Limewire.

Jasper
You could go for Cabos, wich is a spyware free version of Limewire (it also searches bearshare and so on). It's a good thing. it looks ugly, but it does the job.
Dyson
Jasper, you're a star. Works like a charm. Cheers!
Jackster
Damnit dude, get your ass on bit torrent. Limewire and the like are awful. If I had to use something like Limewire for anything, I'd use Frostwire.
Dyson
I already do. I use uTorrent and have done for a few years now

If I had to use something like Limewire for anything, I'd use Frostwire. I'm sorry, dude. Anyways, Limewire (and Cabos for that matter) are nice applications to search for a single song or something. I don't find any torrent applications really usefull for finding specific files. Most of the files there are large, and so I use Torrentz for bigger file transfers, while keeping Limewire and Cabos for the smaller, easier files. Good to know you enjoy Cabos.
