Good games before Cooky even though we got our asses kicked... I think our slowly does it tactic worked until we got swamped and couldn't handle it. Sorry my plan to go to another game didnt work I didn't realise you hadn't followed me until half way through... Completed the level though it was the level we hated and kept getting butchered on. It gets brutal towards the end far to hand for 2 players I reckon!Then couldn't join you after your invite and finally my mic battery ran out so I gave up!

Wow that is great. I was level 11 and now I've somehow gone down to level 2. All of my stats are still there for competitive, yet on my profile I have been lowered to level 2 and I can no longer wear the new outfits etc and I have lost berserks.

 

When I was in the game after it happened there was a guy on the mic who said something about it as well.

 

FS the same has happened on co-operative

No this hasn't happened before - I've lost all of my stuff! If this isn't resolved I am seriously gonna consider taking it back - what is the point? I've done all that and for no reason.

there was an american woman I played with yesterday who had the same issue.

Finished the single player in easy. Loved it. Started off good but not great but by the time you get to the canyon it sky rockets. The bosses were fun. So it turns out that the Chimera were on Earth before Humans were walking upright and that they were protecting some form of technology that was not human or Chimeran. The ooriginal chimera looked like millipeeds with big heads.

It seems everyone's getting into the Christmas spirit today. First free Santa costumes and now we find out that Insomniac are releasing some Resistance related gifts onto the PSN Store during tomorrow's update. These gifts take the form of Resistance 2 XMB themes and a new trailer for the game. Not only that but the map packs for Resistance: Fall of Man will be made available to download for free, in case you're feeling retro this Christmas.

 

Bryan Intihar also states that more Resistance 2 patches are on the way and that "some really cool" new features are coming to MyResistance.net. The PlayStation Blog will have more news on both of these in the near future. In the meantime, be sure to grab all these free goodies when they arrive tomorrow and check out G4's X-Play this Friday at 8pm to see Ted Price talk about his favorite games.

No it's still like it. Oh well, I guess if you just play every so often it'll build up again, but I'm creating in LBP so can't at the moment!

Shame. Love the game myself. The single player is miles better than the 1st one. I dont know why some on neogaf forum are being silly saying Killzone will kill this etc. when given that they only have played the multiplayer of Killzone. :indeed: Plus lets see how COD WAW compares.

 

I played a small bit of Killzone 2 at the expo and yes it was great compared to the first iceland stage in R2. But the iceland stage is not a fair representation of R2. It was mainly just a tutorial. Still it was epic :P

 

Glad you enjoyed the single player it is miles above that of R; Fall of Man...

Has anyone else had trouble connecting to Resistance if they've been playing today? For some reason now it gives me a disconnect error and I can't view my stats. My campaign save data has gone as well.

seems odd your campaign data should go to. I havn't had any any problems getting online this morning.

This morning was fine but now it isn't...

It's working again now. Weird.

Well, it's kind of working, just very slow to load and update.

Just completed this. It just got better and better.

 

I want Resistance 3!!! I want to know what the hell is going on!

 

Same here. Not a clue what the ending means and where it leaves Hale..

That would be the simple answer. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kinda twist to be honest. The biggest thing is it calls into question Hale's motives in the later part of the game. Did he know that the bomb would cause these results? Surely he knew Capelli would try and shoot him as well afterwards...perhaps he will somehow rise from the dead. I do admit that he did look pretty dead, but I'm sure the franchise isn't done with Hale yet.

Ah I see, I did not pay much attention to the storyline tbh. But thinking about it, with the huge amount of power he had at the end of the game, a single bullet would surely not kill him?

Well it was a magnum round point blank to the face... I think there will undoubtedly be more of him in the third - I think we may see him be reborn as a massive creature in the chimera base or something - you may control him as the alien in an evil role, or maybe halfway through the game he has flashbacks and remembers he was once human and then he uses his own powers against the chimera.

 

Maybe you take on the role of Capelli even - thing is no-one really knows what the black-hole thing was, or the Cloven (purest chimera) and I seem to remember something about a big weapon that the chimera were protecting.

 

Just my thoughts...

Haha! Yeah, hat happens to Hale? I was about to say I'm pretty sure I saw his brains explode out of the back of his skull.

You have a good point though.

 

For the sake of the story I do hope he is dead but I love dwarf's idea about flashbacks.

Well you'll be sad to hear that there's no co-op in the main campaign which SUCKS ASS but there is an online co-op which is worth playing, but I don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as the people here - gets boring methinks.
