Posted December 24, 2007 The version shown on ITV earlier was the 1994 remake, which is rubbish. The original is pretty good and, like someone said earlier, has been on Sky Movies every single day recently. The remake really is dreadful though and I'm appalled I was a fan of it in my youth - I was probably just attracted to the girl, you know she played Mathilda. Hawt.
