Just got this through now.

Hi Nathan

You should already have March 13th 2009 firmly marked on your calendar as the release date for Resident Evil 5, but now you have another date to add as Capcom is pleased to confirm the European release date for the PS3 & 360 versions of Street Fighter IV will be February 20th 2009.

Let the countdown commence

Have a great weekend

To celebrate the return of the revolutionary Street Fighter series and the upcoming release of Street Fighter IV for the PLAYSTATION®3 and Xbox 360®, Capcom has created the ultimate Collectors Edition pack for European and Australian fans of the series.

Along with the game itself, the Collectors Edition pack, which will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, will include the following contents housed in a classic Street Fighter scene outer case –

Limited edition figurines of all time favourite character Ryu and the all new character

Crimson Viper, positioned within the familiar settings of the 'crowded Chinese downtown'.

A bonus disc containing a feature length HD quality anime movie, created specially for the launch of Street Fighter IV and a selection of the best game trailers to date.

A mini strategy guide created in the style of a comic art book detailing the moves and biographies of four of the new characters to the series; Viper, Abel, El Fuerte and Rufus

Exclusive downloadable game content

Street Fighter IV the Collectors Edition will be punching its way into fans hands on February 20 th 2009.

OXM Review: 9.5

+ Does the Impossible: Preserves the past, embraces the future.

+ Fantastic art direction

- Anime sequences don't add much to the experience

? Seth, have you met Dr. Manhattan?

Online play is really where Street Fighter IV will really shine. The whole game is clearly weighted toward Live competition; the more you play, the more titles and icons you unlock to show off to other people in the multi-player lobby. That's really no surprise since SF has always been about human competition, and Live is clearly the next evolution of player match-ups. We also liked the ability for anyone on our friends list to challenge us in the middle o our match-as if they walked up next to us in the arcade and dropped in a quarter.

Conclusion: It should make Capcom proud as well as every fighting gamer proud. Street Fighter IV says we can be trusted with our own legacy, that you can respect the past while living in the present day, and that sequels –even highly anticipated ones with a legion of passionate fans-don't have to stink.

Anyone know the best place to pre-order from yet? am leaning towards play.com but could be persuaded by shopto.net. Also, if I get a limited edition, that may stop me from getting resi 5 as Killzone 2 is a must buy for me already along with SF4.

DJamm, i preordered mine off Amazon since they have that guaranteed lowest price at launch policy. .. And also because i got suckered into getting Amazon Prime
