21st century cowboy Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I always said to myself when Super Metroid touches down on the VC I would get a Wii and with my selling my Leeds fest ticket I finally have the cash. Anywhere know of any ggod deals? I'd like to buy one instore so I can get some cash for my Gamecube but if online is best it doesn't matter too much.
Columnar Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 21st century cowboy - go to find-games.co.uk. It lists the best places to find hardware (and games) and gives you the prices on each site plus postage. I use it quite a lot but check near the bottom of the page to see the last time it was updated. Hardware search is down the right-hand side of the page. Hope this helps!: peace:
21st century cowboy Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 Thanks Columnar that was a good site, I hadn't heard of it before. I probably should have said though. I was looking for bundles though. The more games in it the better
Mikey Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Not worth selling your GC really. You'll get about 10 quid for it at most, even if it's in mint condition.
21st century cowboy Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 Not worth selling your GC really. You'll get about 10 quid for it at most, even if it's in mint condition. Really geez. I suppose that is too be expected with only 1 mil being sold in the uk and the Wii making it redundent. I suppose I could make it into a fancy bag !
welsh_gamer Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Try selling your Gamecube at a carboot sale or through a newspaper. You could get £20-£25 doing it that way. Better than the £10 trade in price you get!
Mikey Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I wouldn't sell the GC at all really. I still think it's the best looking console ever. Good to have as a spare GC if your Wii breaks as well.
Columnar Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Yeah don't sell GameCube - I use it to play all my imports since I have the old Freeloader that didn't work on Wii before the SU anyway. I love GC so much that I bought a second one when the Mario Kart: DD!! Platinum Pak came out (even though I already had Mario Kart: DD!!) Mmm.. Platinum GameCube:bowdown:
danny Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 the best place to buy one in store is gamestation. But as demand is still high dont expect to save a great deal. possably £5-£10 on each game. I paid 245 for wii, scarface, wii play and big brain academy a few weeks ago.
dazzybee Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Can I just point out that Metroid is only available in the US. You'll likely have to wait til October for it to come out in the UK. Also, maybe this should go in the Metroid topic, but I'm here now. Anyone else getting annoyed thinking that Nintendo will do EXACTLY what they have done for US over here? Meaning we will get the VC games ages away, and we will get exactly the same videos most of us have already seen? Basically, we're feeding off the hype now for the americans, and we wont get it ourselves!!! I hope Nintendo realise we live in a global world and give us something different
mcj metroid Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Answer to thread: In a shop But seriously I'm getting worried about the furute shortage as well
