I recently downloaded a file (A highly compressed file containing GTA SA, which thankfully works). It came in an executable file, but, I was too stupid to read the instructions, and instead of entering it via Winrar, I double clicked on it. A MS-DOS window opened for a couple of seconds, then dissappeared. Now, not only can't I find the process within the task administrator, but I can't delete the file, and even when I restarted my PC, I couldn't delete it.

Is there any software I can use to find the process, or anyway I can actually delete the file :P

That happened to me before. I'm not sure how I solved it, but I think I put the file in an empty folder, then deleted the folder. Worth a try.

You downloaded something claiming to be GTA:SA in an exe file, double clicked it, it did something and vanished and then the process was locked in a way that implied it was running hidden in the background. If that happened to me I'd be virus scanning the shit out of my PC as we speak. I suggest grabbing AGV free if you've not already got a fully up-to-date anti-virus package.

So you unpacked it, viruses were detected and the game didn't work. Sounds like it was just a trojan mate. Probably didn't work because the file was a fake, especially if it was much smaller zipped than you expected.
