Actually, just checked again and Toshiba quote 8 hours on it, if only it had a decent graphics card, I imagine that's a big part of the power savings. I need the longer battery life for many reasons. It means less charging, less hassle, I can get more work done when I'm out and do more battry intensive things for longer. I don't need to carry the power cable around everywhere. Thats why I won't me getting a Macbook or a couple of other notebooks I was looking at, due to the 4.5 hour at a stretch battery life. Jackster Posted August 13, 2007 Share Posted August 13, 2007 Dunno what Apple were smoking when they said that, but I usually only get around 3:30 hours on my Macbook C2D's battery :-( However, I get the feeling Intel's Speedstep is malfunctioning on my Macbook.
