Happenstance Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 He's still Robin and is gonna continue appearing in Batman & Robin but this time with Bruce.
Dan_Dare Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 New direction for Batman. His new costume is that he's a cat.
Happenstance Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Full DC September Solicitations I see theyve altered the Teen Titans info to show that Tim Drake was still a Robin.

Paj! Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 [last page reference] Oh hey Joe Madureira. I haven't seen you since Ultimates 3. I used to love his art/he was the only comic artist I knew, when I first started reading comics. He used to be better on his 90's X-Men. Or maybe I was more forgiving. *goes and checks* No, he was better.
Dante Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I thought this was the cover for Frankenstein, Agent of Shade #1. It turns out this is the cover: Also Alexandra is removed from JLI cover.
ReZourceman Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 [last page reference] Oh hey Joe Madureira. I haven't seen you since Ultimates 3. I used to love his art/he was the only comic artist I knew, when I first started reading comics. He used to be better on his 90's X-Men. Or maybe I was more forgiving. *goes and checks* No, he was better. Lulz. Aquafire is the same. The story of when we first met is kinda nice actually. --------------- I had just moved from my nice school to this shit school at the end of year 8. Went to....English I think it was, and we could all read a book at the beginning or something. I was given my seat, next to Aquafire/Mike, because as I gather his best friend had just left a week or two before so there was a spare seat. He wasn't in my form so I had never seen or met him before. I didn't have a book. Anyway he got out his book and it was Battle Chasers, and I was like "Whooaaaa cool. You like comics" "This artwork is amaaaazzzzinnnnggg" and it all blossomed from there!
Paj! Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Memories... My first comic. I was 7. It was so mature for my age, but yeah (I'll always promote comics, as I have no doubts that it was reading these 'adult' comics so young that helped me with my English skillz (not evidenced on N-E :P) and generally made me appreciate stuff more). And the perfect one to start, since it was so self-contained. Yes I was stunned by Psylocke, this character I'd never seen before. Yes it was the issue she was mortally wounded by Sabretooth (after Boom Boom let him free by mistake). The entire issue is then a really well drawn search for him with just the original X-Men. Joe Madureira drew the first part of the issue. EDIT: This image. Nowadays I have a lot more to say about that kinda style. I definitely like it less, and I'm over kinda...manga-influenced stuff/stupid physiques. Edited June 14, 2011 by Paj!
Dan_Dare Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 That's probably my fav issue of X-Men ever. Outside of AoA, naturally.

Happenstance Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Just added all the DC #1s i'll be planning on getting in September to my usual site to check how much it'll cost me. Coming to around £50 for all of them. Tempted to put the preorder it now so I can just forget about it and have them arrive.
ReZourceman Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Just seen the front cover for Flashpoint #2 has that Green Lantern banner across (I know, old news) but.... ....Ugh. Seriously like. God. I get it on the smaller titles, but fucking hell for the big event? Get a grip.
Happenstance Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Another Superman cover: This has been confirmed as fake, its just an image someone had drawn for their deviantart account
Paj! Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Catching up with Invincible now. Just read 75. Help me I m in Hel.
Paj! Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Yeah he actually is a massive stunner. Like...what were those double spreads of the planet? Blowing me really hard. And such a stunning thing you never see. I don't mind decompression in comics when what you're seeing is so brilliant.
