ReZourceman Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Well I adore both of those two, but the one for #77 is both classic in style and definitive, and amazing inking and ridiculously good colouring, and he's in his classic costume, all battle ravaged, AND on top of all that its got Freddie Mercury! But I seriously adore the ones you posted too. They're definitely right up there too.
Happenstance Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Just read the end of Shadowland, its pretty crap, just like the rest of the series. It doesnt feel like it needed to be outside of the Daredevil comics at all.
gmac Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Kirkman's new book looks like it's going to have it's issue #1 launched on Free Comic Book Day. The FCBD site has this listed as Image's offering Image ComicsROBERT KIRKMAN KID-FRIENDLY TITLE
ReZourceman Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Aj nice one. You guys heard about Infestation? I'm not exactly well versed in IDW (in fact the only thing I've read is Locke and Key, and thats not really part of this) but theres a big (very cool) crossover between like Transformers, GI Joe etc etc... Interview at CBR. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=29657
ReZourceman Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Mnnyaaahhhh. Tailing off a bit unfortunately. Still alright. P.S. I'm going to London tomorrow. I intend to buy; - Savage Dragon (singles, I've heard Gosh has 90%) - Halycon #1 (sounds cool, I like Guggenheim) - Superior #2 - Bomb Queen Omnibust (Image, sounds cool)
ReZourceman Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 WTF guys. Where was the Big Time #2 discussion. Pretty major character....thing. Kingsley dead! FUCK! And I think I realised why I like it so much....its very "Invincibleish" with the ~few panels of minor story~ like the Venom pages in these two issues.
ReZourceman Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Totally did a practise of my mad hax colouring skills. Not amazing I know, but not too bad, I was reasonably happy with it.
Happenstance Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 (edited) Just finished watching the Young Justice pilot and overall I thought it was really good and I'm looking forward to seeing more. My only real complaint was Robin's voice, if as the costume suggests that's Tim Drake then I don't think he should sound as childish. Also I hope we get some actual clarification on which versions of Robin and Kid Flash these are. I know which the original Young Justice versions were but it's nice to actually get them named. I do wonder as well why they didn't use the same design for Aqualad as the one that's just been introduced in Brightest Day. EDIT: Ok apparently it is Dick Grayson and Wally West, they just seem to have mixed and matched whatever characters and costumes they wanted. Makes me like the show less now actually. ReZourceman Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 (Did it air/available for download?) And apparently (Jason Howard said on Twitter) that we should know their new project within one week. SICK. Right ffs. Is CBR TV working for anyone else? Can you watch this video; http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=29726 ?
Happenstance Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Yeah that video loaded for me. The Young Justice pilot aired the other week, the rest of the series is carrying on in January.
ReZourceman Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Thanks, my flash player must be playing up or something. Not working on IE or Chrome. Just saw this picture and didn't even recognised who it was ; (Emma Stone) Oh lul. Keep it tuned to CBR this week as we unveil two more teasers for the comic as well as an exclusive first interview with Kirkman about his first new project since wrapping work on season one of AMC's "Walking Dead" which ended it's first successful season with last night's finale.

Dan_Dare Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Ha, awesome. I love that character design. This is the all ages book yes? I'll pass.
ReZourceman Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 All ages doesnt mean "aimed at children". It just means little\no blood. Look at Spider-girl. Amd also read the interview I linked to. Pass. Pffft. No one gets to "pass" a Kirkman book. *Angry* ------------- Hey guys, I went in Waterstones, picked up The Boys and read the first three pages...enjoyed (what little dialogue) and what happens (a fair amount) and decided to see how much I had on my Waterstones card, figuring if I had more than £5 on it that I'd buy it. Sure enough I did, and only had to put 47p towards it! So I got this; Will let you know how much enjoyment later.

ReZourceman Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Ah yes, I agree with Blackest Night. And I have STILL only read Morning Glories #1 because my comic shop hasn't got 2 yet. :/ -------- Just finished The Boys. It was fucking awesome. Cunt. I love the accents I read them in in my head, but I HAVE to do it, but it is a little confusing/tricky at times, but yeah, definitely worth it, it gives the book a great and unique feel. Need the next volumes asasasasap.
