Not great news... but hopefully DLC will sort us out. Still looking forward to it. I just want it now!!
-
You sound like me to be honest. I'm sure the games will be there throughout the year, and we'll soon be talking about how great it is.
-
Of course it has something to do with the success but I don't think everyone who has a DS would have a Gameboy now if Nintendo hadn't taken the direction they have.
-
Totally it, it's not the fact that I disagree with your opinion ZeldaFreak, it's that you tell people these things as if it's fact. You've not played a good Mario game in 3d? Well the last 2 were rated pretty highly, and this new one is looking pretty damn good so far. Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it's not an excellent game that will be out for the Wii. Wii has some cool games out in the next month or 2, but yet again, they don't fit into YOUR opinion so they don't count do they...
-
Haha, well I've bought it anyway, can always sell it on Ebay if it's crap.
-
That's exactly what I was about to say. Like I said my friends weren't bothered about games until they played Brain Training at one of their cousins, then they went and bought a DS each.
-
Lol! I might buy the advance pack. I like it, might try to get a bit better at it. I just bought Beyond Good & Evil on Gamecube. Not had chance to play it yet, been too busy with Hotel Dusk.

I think the whole 'the mass market will buy it because it's Sony' argument isn't something that is as simple as that. I think people bought PS2 because of the ammount of games, and the fact that it wasn't that expensive. People who just want Fifa every year, are they going to spend £400+ on a console. I'm not so sure. Sure PS3 will have plenty of games, but I'm not as yet convinced it'll be the massive success the PS2 was. Casual gamers went for PS2. Now DS is the casual gamers system of choice right now. Wii could become that with the right games. Anyone writing Sony off, or anyone writing Wii off, I think is wrong to do so, because we haven't seen the potential of both yet.
-
I bet he would. In 2 months he'll have both systems, rather than having to rebuy a Wii when he wants games for it again. It's not that much of a wait and the games will still be there for you to buy when you do get one.

Idiot. And again you show you're a chump. I've been watching digital tv for years, on a small portable. You don't NEED a new tv, stop posting about something you know nothing about. Although obviously might be a bit hard if you want to carry on posting.
-
Yeah analogue signals. So you need freeview or Sky. End of story. You don't need a new tv. Anyway, back to PS3 discussion. Oh, and they have Brain Training, Nintendogs, New Mario Bros, The Sims 2, Tomb Raider and Sega Casino.
-
They should just leave it. Bring out a bigger hard drive and just sell that. If 360 really needed a HDMI port they should have put one in from the beginning. This will be nothing more than a move that pisses off current owners and make them go for Playstation next time round.
-
Well I've got a few gold and platinum medals Maybe I'll be good for once! I'll be shit now...
-
That's what I have right now. Had sod all games, for my Cube, and when I got more it was trading in games that got me them, and after getting a job I've had loads for 360, and now buying a fair few for Wii and DS. Hell, I could only have a Gamecube last gen because all I could afford was one console.
-
ZeldaFreak, you talk so much shit it's incredible. I mean, it's been just a few short hours since I viewed this thread, and now there's so many utterly ridiculous posts from you that I just can't be bothered to go over them. Fortunately Rokhed has pointed them out for me. You consistently make yourself look like a knowledge-less idiot time and again. I've had Freeview/On Digital for years now on my analogue tv, so shut the hell up. As for this whole non gamer thing, DS has proved that people who aren't really interested in games can play them. My mom, dad, sister, my mate, and his girlfriend have all got a DS now. And these were people who couldn't care less about games. And as for thing you heard on Gamespot, Jeff Gerstmann actually said this week, "right now it's looking like you need a Wii and something else. PS3 and 360 have basically the same games". And that laugh actually only made you look like more of a 12 year old.
-
I actually find having loads of games limits how much enjoyment I get out of them, because I can never find the time to play through one, and if I get stuck I just move on to the next one. If you have a small collection you tend to play the ones you have a lot more. That's what I've found anyway.
-
I got rid. It was soooo rubbish, I can't find words to describe quite how crap it is.
-
It's not fact, it's yet again, your opinion. Lots of people love Wario Ware, and a few people do like Monkey Ball, Rayman, and obviously Wii Sports. Red Steel has a few fans as well. And I don't know what a done of games is, but Wii will have plenty at the end of the year, and I was in fact also talking about my 360 and DS as well. As for Monkey Ball clones, I don't think anyone knows what you're on about, because as far as I can see, Sonic, Mario, Metroid, Smash Bros., Disaster, Prince of Persia etc. are nothing like it. So basically nothing noticeable.
-
Well I was thinking Saturday/Friday night, since I'm at work all week.
-
I don't think they do. I think they need to announce Nintendogs Wii soon, or something to get non gamers really into the system. That's the key to Wii success. People who aren't really interested in PS3/360. People will buy a console for Mario Galaxy regardless of when it comes out.
-
I'm at 14 hours in Hotel Dusk on Chapter 8, so I wouldn't exactly call it a short game. Certainly an excellent one though.
-
Right, that's 2 of us, anyone else up for it? Maybe some Gears as well?
-
You have no idea, you're just making this up. Wii until 2008 then PS3 will be on top. How have you worked this out? You even said yourself PS3 has games YOU are interested in. Right now niether has been out long enough to judge. In fact you can't even judge 360 yet because we've not got anything to compare it to. We don't know how quickly next gen will be taken up, how long PS2 is going to last, nothing. Right now you're basing your opinion/fact giving on nothing other than Final Fantasy 13 and the success of the PS2. PS2 was awesome because of the GAMES, not because of the Playstation name. PS3 doesn't have the games yet.
-
Seriously, just get one now, I don't think any update will really be anything 'must have' anyway.
-
Yep, I'm going to try and get a loan for a car soon, which may start to limit the number of games I can afford. I'm stocking up now
