Me too. I'm rubbish at sniping in games anyway, it just makes it worse when everyone has a sniper rifle.

Picked it up again after another break of a couple of weeks. Had one annoying moment but now I'm at the beginning of the Sky temple so think I'm quite near the end. As much as I'm enjoying it I will be glad when it's finished now. Got so many other games to play, and I'll be glad to finally see the end of this game. Going to play every night til it's finished now.

I like the match making system, it's good for if you're rubbish like me, you get to play with equally rubbish people

I played Halo for an hour and a half and apart that sniper game it was fecking cool. I totally kicked arse at that king of the hill thing. Got 40 seconds more than everyone else in one game.

True, they have to totally fuck something up before it get sorted. It'll come together eventually.

I haven't played it since last Saturday and I cancelled my pre order. Really not bothered by Halo, but who knows, maybe I'll get into it.

It is looking good. I'm really interested in this game, I'll more than likely pick it up.

I like it. Handling is very light, and that takes some getting used to. Graphics are excellent though. Definitely considering getting it.

That's not the point, the point is simply that you would assume normally that clicking the 'x' in the corner of the window would close the program and not just that one window. Like I said I like it that way, but I can imagine someone new to Macs would be like 'What the hell..?'

Just to throw it out there, on the subject of user friendly-ness, how user friendly is it that the program doesn't close when you close a window in OS X? Personally I like it doing that, but it's not the expected thing is it really? Would a new user know that if not told?

I agree with this, but certainly £70 a year is very over the top. I'd think twice if it was £70 for life actually.

The music not playing on other things is not entirely Apples fault, that's partly down to the music industry. I agree with iTunes not supporting other MP3 players though. I disagree with your argument of Apple not supporting everything. I didn't have to install any drivers to use my digital camera or my dads printer on my laptop. It literally was plug it in and use it. If my dad formats his Windows PC he's fucked because he's lost the CD that came with it. I'll be able to use it though.

And that's the point, you either play the game from day one and put hours into it, or you get your arse kicked by the people who really know how to play.

I kinda have days every so often where I play hours of Viva Pinata. Not had one for a while, maybe I'll get bck into it again soon. Did anyone listen to 1UP Yours this week? I thought the middle segment about online gaming and the barriers to entry for a casual gamer was excellent. They basically talked about how hard it is for the average person to go online with a game like Gears of Halo and not get their arse kicked. This is one of the reasons I don't like Halo. The feeling of going online and being killed time after time, not having a clue what the fuck you're doing, they described it as 'humiliating'. What do you guys reckon to that, and how do you think they could solve it?

Still, £70? Just for a colour difference? It's a bit of a joke. I was annoyed enough when PS2 was £10 more expensive in silver.

Black Macbook is £100 more expensive though, than the white, which is a joke to be honest.
