  3. Spent my entire 2 hour lunch break playing this, and finally got over rank 10, using some Crusty Sean's food for extra ranking up. The Ranked mode, I didn't play Splatoon 1 so am a newbie, is awesome. 15 minutes of Splat Zones, before it changed to Rainmaker. Never had this much fun playing an online shooter before, voice chat to coordinate a little better would have made a bit of difference though. Just so pleased at how much difference it makes to the game to have a different rule set. Damn work now though. See you on Saturday Splatoon 2.
  4. Tell me about it. I have really wanted to pick up Mario and Rabbids, but am in 2 minds now. MK8, ARMS and Splatoon 2 are just drinking my time away. Don't know when I'll get time to play it.
  5. Apparently, Jackbox party games are going to get a bundle price on Switch soonish. Saw it on their Twitter feed. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

  12. I know that school. My niece will be going to a Welsh speaking school up the hill a little bit from there. Neath is a hole, so I've never had the urge to go back either. Spent a lot of time in Southampton and Bournemouth, and loved the South also. Met my future wife, Taiwanese, in Bournemouth, and we visited Taiwan together a few times before marrying, then falling pregnant and moving permanently. The only thing I miss is my family, Skype makes it much easier. Taiwan straddles the Tropic of Cancer, so it's half tropical and half sub-tropical. Like Adrian Cronauer says, "It's hot and wet", but it's old Dutch name was Formosa "the beautiful Island", and it lives up to its name in spades. 95% of the population are refugees/descendants of the 1959 Chinese Civil War with the Maoists, so are Mandarin speakers. Taiwan is liberal and democratic. It's the first Asian country to legalise same sex marriage. Modernity and tradition live hand in hand.
  13. Haha, not quite. I left on my own volition. Family and work. How did you get moved out of the UK? Recently? I'm originally from Neath, but been all over in my travels. Ever been to Neath? Ystrad Mynach is due to one of my brothers moving there for work. His wife works in teaching also, but started within the last 4 years. What school were you supplying in? My other brother lives in Thornhill/Llaes Faen (similar commuter belt for Cardiff area, nice area though). I don't see them ever moving back to Neath, and I don't blame them. Haha (I'm not either, Taiwan suits me too well, food, weather, good looking girls, easy laid back way of living).
  14. Just got back from my 4 week holiday to the UK. Letting my son see his father's birthplace, and meet his family, etc. Did some cool things in London, tourist stuff like Greenwich Observatory, Big Ben, Bus Tour, etc. Saw one of the boys from N-E forums walking past the Premier Inn near the London Eye, can't remember who but saw your picture on here before, you wear your hair in a top knot, beard, I was having breakfast and there you were walking past outside. Then the rest of my vacation was in Wales, Cardiff, Ystrad Mynach, Neath, Swansea, Black Mountains, Brecon, etc. Jam packed holiday, and my son settled in really well with my family. So enjoyable, but exhausting. Won't be doing it again for a long time, so I hope some of my family can visit me for a change. Thanks UK.

  23. I never get offended. I try my hardest to not offend anyone, but at the same time find it so difficult to understand anyone who gets offended by anything, especially religion, color, politics, gender. It's only a joke, stop taking things so seriously. The world does not revolve around you, etc. There's so little time that we all have, why go around fretting about what others think. Just laugh and don't take everything so god damn seriously. If someone calls me a lanky c&£*, I just agree with them or give it back and hope they can take it as much as they dish it out. I'm Welsh and once spent the evening, night and morning in the company of 6 English strangers drinking who ripped the piss out of me all night. I didn't bat an eyelid but just added to their sheep jokes. I made one comment to retaliate and 4 of them were ready to punch me back to next Tuesday. I just don't get it???
