Players were to predict the outcome and how many players with a skill level of 8 or higher would be playing. Neither of the participating teams (bob or Inter) managed to guess the score correctly but bob was closest to the amount of 8-skilled players with his guess of 10 (there were 11). You could always try starting up a new team instead of leaving :p

You can form train at any time (obviously it's best to train those around 10 or below). When the change report comes in, dv and form will change but as you aren't part of that, the system will leave your team alone. This means the only effects you will see on your own form will be from whatever training you do. You can train during the season and players receiving training can still play in matches (the matches will also alter form though). Form training lasts 5 days.

You're not part of the current season so your form should be unaffected when the season ends

I completely agree and I like to think I accomplish both. This season has been harder for me but I've still been going for the results while developing my players. The fact that I've lasted three seasons running in the Elite League while other teams have gone up and down is hopefully a testament to that. I've had good change reports (my first double jumper at the end of last season) and until this season I've always finished higher in the table at the end of each season. This will actually be the first season since starting that I've finished lower than where I ended the previous season. There will most definitely be a cup after this season. We have potentially 3 teams that need replacing but we already have Fish coming in so that's lowered to just 2 already. Du Rhearts Love Child is a friend of @dan\-likes\-trees I think? He hasn't logged in since February. Same goes for @Cube - do you still want to keep your team? Worst comes to worst, we can just keep those two teams as inactive but hopefully both managers will opt to stay in anyway :p Change reports will be up on Monday 22nd April (I think) which is one day after the league end date and three days after the final game. This is the spotlight simply because it will be an interesting match so are there any takers besides bob? :p

I think a lot of teams make the mistake of playing only their strongest players in the hopes of staying afloat when they should be sticking to playing their developing players as a priority. Sure you may go down but you'll go down with a stronger team than when you started and if your focus is on development anyway it shouldn't matter what league you're in. If I go down, fine, if I don't, fine

Definitely. There are three games left of this season so you can apply to join in a week or two. Or if you really wanted you could take over a managerless team but you'd probably prefer to start your own.

I don't think you can hope for a double jump based on one season's DV. 16-20 dv 2 or 3 seasons in a row should be more than enough for a double jump - so long as they're young. I've had a few players reach 18 dv in other leagues but the highest I've had in this league is 17.

Took a risk and played my injured players to try and catch Odwin off-guard... kind of paid off as I got a draw but I had a goal disallowed right at the start which is annoying!

It definitely is brilliant. I've always liked comic book heroes and that whole world but I've never really read any comics before. ReZ recommended Invincible (to pretty much everyone) so I gave it a go and absolutely loved it. I'm kind of glad I'm not too into comics because it would be an extremely expensive hobby for me but Invincible really is worth every penny you might spend.

Not yet, go for it! As for who is next... I haven't been in a game for a while so please whoever is ready to start today, go :p I'm glad we still have so many people wanting to create games!

I just think it's cheap and a bit scummy really which is why I've never used them. The league allowed them so I can't claim it's 'unfair' or place blame or whatever nor am I trying to :p I'm just very annoyed that so many of my players have been taken out of action so late in the season. It's completely messed up my development and I'll have to replace players in the off season which I really can't afford to do. I do think trying to use them two days running is a bit excessive though.

I've had 3 strikers before and I've always found strikers the hardest to gain DV for. The past few seasons I've had 2 strikers and I've done really well with spreading the DV across them both. I have an all-round I can use as a forward for one game and I'll just have to risk playing one with an injury in the game after. I couldn't care less about the results but I am very pissed off at so many players missing out on valuable games. The two forwards were injured in games which is fair enough but then I received a random xpert event which injured my 30-10 midfielder for 5 days (which basically puts him out of use for my next game). I made the apparent mistake of letting someone know how much this annoyed me because they decided to respond by using a dirty trick on me which resulted in my 17-4 being injured for 2 games. Hilarious I'm sure you agree . After receiving yet another dirty trick last night (not even a single day's gap between them - fortunately it didn't work) from the same player, I have decided to remove dirty tricks. A decision I may have made in haste but I don't want to have to put up with shit like that and I would do the same for anyone else receiving the same kind of treatment. If people want them back I'll put them back on but I don't think anyone has used them for a fair few seasons anyway and honestly I've always hated them and have always wanted rid of them. @bob - basically dirty tricks are something you can pay for and use on a team of your choice. There is a risk involved, it may not work and you'll face a fine or at the very least the other team will discover the attempt... or it could result in your target team paying out funds to repair something or having players injured.

Someone (I know who) saw that I had 3 injured players so thought it'd be funny to dirty trick me. Now my 17-4 will be out for 2 games. He's only on 11dv as I've not had him since the start of the season. I doubt I'll raise him now... such a waste of every game he's played so far. This whole season of development has been fucked for me now. 3 players who I should've easily raised are now big question marks.

I wish I hadn't died as early as I did. I didn't really get a chance to play the proper game.

I'm fully expecting to go down this season. My next four games will see me face Odwin (2nd), Intergalactico (3rd) and Madpool (4th). I've already played and lost against Eights today who are first. Silverdale is my only real chance at points but there's nothing to say I'll win that game. They're still a stronger side than my own. --- Well this has come at the shittest time ever... I've already got both forwards injured. Is this dirty tricks or an Xpert event? not cool, not fun.
